This place was almost the highlight of our trip. We loved the cozy house by the lake and the old city of Anguillara was amazing. It may be my subjective opinion but I enjoyed every minute and could have stayed there forever. Perfect for relaxing holiday after intense period of work.
Also the hosts were very hospitable and treated us like welcome friends. Thank you for that!

This is a great apartment to stay near Rome. Filippo is a great host who responded to our requests and in particular suggested a great parking lot in the center of Rome. The accommodation contains everything necessary for a full stay there for several days or more.
I really liked the comfortable bed, the possibility to park on the private territory of the property.

Anguillara is a very beautiful place and a welcome respite from the “madness” in Rome. I would highly recommend the boat trip around the lake that only operates in summer. Great value for 5 euros. We didn’t have a car and at times it was difficult to find out accurate times for the buses and the boat across the lake. Beautiful old town right on the lake, next to a resort on the lake popular with locals and foreigners alike. Lots of bars and choices of cuisine. Stunning views. Lake swimming and other activities (wind sail boats, kite surfing, wind surfing). Anguillara was a cute town on the lake with a lot of charm. We were surprised to see that there was a lot of nightlife even on a Thursday night. We stayed one night, and we felt that one night was enough to get a flavor of the town.

The views from this property are even better in person, we would venture to say they're some of the most beautiful scenery we've been surrounded by on a holiday. The host (Barbara) was also very helpful and friendly - she went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. We'd recommend this place wholeheartedly and will stay if visiting Anguillara again.

The host is the most kind and hospitable person. He drove us to the train station, as we’ve mistaken the bus schedule and he has made sure that our stay has been exceptional. The family restaurant around the corner has provided some unforgettable evenings directly at the lake front! I’m coming back next month already!
