The room was big and they allowed me to keep my bicycle inside. The bathroom was also big and warm. The restaurant was excellent, with dishes created by the chef to represent the flavours of Calabria. Breakfast was abundant and good, a mix of sweet and savoury options.

Villa dei Larici has much to offer, not least a very comfortable, spacious, and modern room with an extremely comfortable bed and a roomy shower. Its location in the woods makes it quiet and calming. Paolo gave us a bacon and eggs breakfast, along with the standard -- but exceptionally tasty and warm -- pastries and cakes. Fresh fruit was also on offer, which, strangely, is usually missing from fruit-rich Calabrian B&B's.
