Location is great. Lots of restaurants and about 20- 30 mins drive to Malpensa airport on a Saturday morning ( which is why we chose it) Lovely river to sit and dine by .(It’s predominantly seafood, by the way) Very friendly staff who proactively involved themselves in showing us the room and carrying luggage because there’s no lift ( thanks Maria and Stefano) Geordana was lovely at breakfast and it was cooked fresh for us Room had an iron and kettle ( rate in some places in Italy) Place was recently renovated so very fresh-looking exterior and interior Restaurant on site

Everything was perfect. We were welcomed by Gianni, who showed us the apartment and told everything we needed to know. Although Gianni doesn't speek English and we don't speek Italian, we could communicate thanks to google translator. The appartment is really well-equiped - it has everthing one needs for a short weekend break or a longer holiday stay. During our stay, whenever we had any questions, we just wrote to Sylvia who was really helpful.

    Short drive from Malpensa Airport Milan and close to the Lakes. The accomodation is in a semi rural location with a pleasant garden and only a few minutes drive outside of Sesto Calende. You need a car to get here and stay here, but the town and restaurants are close. Sesto Calende is close to the river with pathways alongside and a square with cafes etc. Many facilities including Tourist Information are closed on Mondays.

    It is the best place to be if you want the Lago Maggiore,...

    It is the best place to be if you want the Lago Maggiore, but not only. You are close to a lot of major tourist interest places, starting with the lake itself, which is the best for watersport freaks, swimmers, or just lazy beach people, (with some secret tips like 20 min driving distance smaller lakes in the area), but also close to Milano, (50 km), Como, or 2-3 hours away from La Spezia-Cinque Terre, Genoa, or the French Riviera. Switerzland and the mountain area are very close too, so you have a perfect base point for a multipurpose vacation, with more reasonable lodging costs than usual in any of these areas. Despite being a small town, the city center offers plenty of food and drink places to visit, from 7 a.m. till late in the evening.
