My name is Federico, our adventure begins in 2004 with the setting up of our first holiday home; Restart Accommodations offers now several self-catering apartments, each ideally located at the heart of Rome. I was born and still live in the district of Celio where my now 91 year old grandfather was a local grocer. Along with my wife Ambra and my three children Valerio, Emma and Sveva. We also have 3 pet dogs named Nuvola, Zorro and Viola, who have been with our family for years now. In early 2003, I thought about sharing to the people what Rome and this neighborhood has to offer, that's when I decided to get into home rentals. In addition, I’ve also put up a luggage deposit place for the convenience of my guests and tourists alike in the neighborhood. I have a team who helps me with my home rentals. Wesley, Emerson and Simona who helps me respond with all the inquiries. Our front liners are Joey, Eric, Giulia, Dalila, Natalia and Elivira who makes sure that the apartment is in pristine condition for the next guest. Along with me in the back office is Sylvia, Simona, Marco and Alessando where all the paper works are being done. I'm really proud to say that we are not just a team or a family.. but an Empire.

Our Balestra apartment is delightfully themed by vaulted ceilings and vintage Vespa collectibles, beautifully positioned on the wall within a glass case where you can appreciate all the art and skill that has been put into the objects. Balestra has a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove for guests who opt to prepare their meals while watching tv. It has a queen-size bed with reading lamps on both sides. The apartment is at basement level where you’ll also find a common area equipped with a washer/dryer combo, and a coffee machine with cups and lids to jumpstart your mornings. The Celio neighbourhood is charming, authentic, safe, friendly, and welcoming, with cafés, trattorias, wine bars, small shops, bike rentals, supermarkets, excellent produce stand, and metro and bus stops close at hand. Not to mention the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill, Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, all in the immediate surroundings, along with lovely parks and walks.

Neighborhood info

The Celio neighborhood is located right next to the Colosseum. Despite being next to a world-famous monument, our neighborhood is surprisingly residential and full of locally-owned shops and restaurants. There is a farmer's market, cafes, Pharmacy, and a metro line all within walking distance which has made our guests stay comfortable and accessible. Approximately 150m walk from Colosseum (Metro B station), Palatine Hill and Roman Forum.The area is fully packed with bars and restaurants where tourists go for and locals alike. There is an open market that sells freshly harvested fruits and vegetables and a small truck which sells fish and meat. A supermarket is located 50m from the apartment at Via dei Santi Quattro, and it's open 24/7 Local authentic restaurants Like Trattoria Luzzi, Naumacchia, Divino Ostilia and Volare just to name a few are all a minute walk from the flat. The neighborhood even has bank and ATM, and a postal office just located at Via San Giovanni in Laterano street. Our luggage place / office is located 50M from the apartment. Address is Via Ostilia 4b. For pre check-in guests, using the service is free of charge. Using the service upon check-out, gives you a 20% on the total price. The best thing about the location is that you get to live with the locals, so you really get that feeling on how it is to live in Rome.
