    We loved the location of the hotel, the size of the suite was fantastic as a family with 2 kids. The staff where very helpful for any inquiry. Breakfast was included and had a variety of items.

    It was clean and nicely decorated if you like modern decor. Staff was kind to upgrade our room since we were there celebrating our 25th anniversary. Patio attached to our from was nice but it just overlooked a very ugly ally.

    We visited in August and air conditioning only seemed to work well in the lobby. We were on the 8th floor, hallways were hot and the air conditioning in our room did not work very well and was on a timer and shut off frequently. Room was so hot and smelled so badly of cigarette smoke that I was not able to sleep well. Key is on a very LARGE key chain that you leave at the desk every time you leave and then collect is from the front desk each time you return to your room, this did not make me comfortable. Location is far from anything.

    Travelling with a family of 4 adults Room size at the Ripa Roma was excellent... tons of room to spread out and make yourself at home. Excellent breakfast buffet!

    Front Desk staff were somewhat abrasive and appeared to be unwilling to assist. Provided us with a tram number and location to get on and off... however did not tell us that tams did not run on Sunday!.... stood there for a half hour waiting for nothing... Internet service is limited to 1 device per room and once you use up the allotted amount of service... you can't get another access password... Don't expect to download any movies on line because that pretty much did us in... Not to worry... Wine on the balcony was the next choice!

    The bed was not that comfortable and woked up with slight backpain each morning;

    nice design, good area with lots of restaurants and not too many tourists

    clean and nicely, but a bit worn-out, one can see that it's been a while since last renovation. Wi-fi is stated as free, but it's really not, they offered me 500mb free card which I used up in just one day doing e-mails and then I had to pay 6 euros a day for wi-fi

    Location to tram and Trastevere.

    Ripped carpet Broken shutters No shelves in bathroom WiFi - tedious with cards on a daily basis and low connection speed.

    They have thought of everything you may need and put it in the hotel room. The room was very comfortable because it was large. The inhouse restaurant had something for all palates, including the Indian vegetarian palate!

    The location was good, and the breakfast was great. mainly the public areas were great

    the room was dirty, lots of damages, AC leaks, rust in the bath, split bed. i would expect MUCH more when i purchase a Deluxe room. I have taken pictures and will publish them in some social sites and other review sites.

    Very good location in wonderful and lively neighbourhood, the Trastavere. Hotel a little bit tricky to find but oasis of calm close to animation of old Trastavere. Close to tram station on Via Trastavere. Very good breakfast in futuristic style of dining room. Are already going back for our last night.

    A little bit tricky to find, taxi had a hard time but we managed in the end.

    The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is great, and the room is very spacious.a

    The internet is very slow, the walls are paper thing (so turning on the tv at night may get you a noise complaint.), and even if you do watch tv their systems are ancient

    The breakfast had a good assortment to choose from i.e. hot food such as sausages, bacon, boiled eggs, mushrooms and scrambled eggs; pastries such as croissants, cakes and bread; cereals; fresh fruit and yogurts; an assortment of cold meats and cheeses; selection of fruit juices including freshly squeezed, delicious orange juice; coffee and tea etc.. Rooms more than comfortable with free wifi and good air conditioning (it was very hot when we were there). The room was cleaned very well and towels changed daily. The beds are comfy. There is a mini bar/fridge in the room and a safe.The restaurant was very reasonably priced with good food. Hamburger (a good one) and chips costs only 8€ for example. The beef fillet was very good indeed as were the pasta dishes. The wine was good, as well. Waiters were generally pleasant and service was good. A nice little bar area, though we did not use it. Very near buses/tram stop so no problem getting into the city. Trastevere itself is very nice at night with many good restaurants and a lovely little wine bar (Vin Allegro) serving reasonably priced cocktails. If not eating in the hotel restaurant, it is much better to eat in Trastevere as you will get good food cheaper than eating in the centre and paying tourist prices for terrible food. Generally, we had a pleasant stay.

    Some surly staff on reception (mainly the men) who were not very helpful. One of the rooms allocated to our group was not the one we had booked. We were told we could change the next day, but nothing happened. This meant we had no bath for the entire stay. After a long day sight-seeing in Rome, a bath would have been very nice to relax in. The breakfast room was quite cold (air conditioning) which in turn made hot food cool down quickly. Would have preferred coffee served freshly at the table instead of from a machine. No iron in the room and the cost for housekeeping to do it is astronomical! I expect to find an iron and ironing board in a '4 star' hotel. Although we were in one of the 'better' rooms with a modern flat screen TV, we could not get the main Italian channels to work! There was a general lack of information in the room/hotel about Rome itself and how to use public transport etc... The hotel charges city tax on top of the cost of the room, which in our case was 165€ as we were a group of 11 people (3€ per person per night). I feel this should be mentioned when checking in.
