The central location with respect to the main tourist resorts of the region makes it an ideal starting point for your excursions. Just 10 minutes away is the Circumvesuviana which connects Portici with Naples and therefore with the ports from where you can reach the islands of the gulf (Ischia, Capri, Procida, etc.). With the Circumvesuviana it is also possible to reach the beautiful and famous Sorrento. A few minutes by car you can reach: the archaeological sites of Herculaneum and Pompeii, the National Park and the Vesuvius crater.
