This place had everything we expected--mini kitchenette in the room, comfortable bed, small outdoor patio, and little touches like coffee grounds, fruit for breakfast, detergent pods, etc. We were greeted by Mr. Piacenti upon our arrival and he spent an hour going over all of the details of the place, showing us a map of Florence with recommendations on what to see and how to get there, and recommended local restaurants and grocery stores. The place is 2 mins walk from the nearest grocery store, and is fairly accessible to the city center by bus or tram.

The owner was very friendly, provided lots of info and answered all the questions. He even sold some bus tickets we needed. The bus stop was quite near the property, buses running very often. We could reach all the places we needed by bus. The apartment was quite big and convenient.

We liked everything about this apartment. It was spacious, clean, quiet, the bed was very comfortable, and it was a reasonable walk to downtown. The host was friendly. We were only in Florence for two nights but we wished we could have stayed longer.

The location was great, with easy access from the airport. The host emailed me easy to follow directions to take the tram to the location. The host was very kind and gave us a map to help with finding the train station where we met with some of the tours we took. It was only about a 15-20 minute walk. He also recommended some great sights to see around Florence. One huge bonus was there is a farmer's market that sets up in front of the building next door M-Sat. and also a supermarket about a block away. There are also great restaurants easily within a 5-10 minute walk.

Everything. The host Mr. Piacenti and his wife are super host, super gentle with us. They are the best hosts I've ever known. The apartment is nice and close to supermarkets, bus stop and train station. Very convenient for everything. I love this apartment very much and I will come back again for sure. The host was very helpful, made a great effort to communicate with us, gave us great recommendations, was honest and sensible. Although the building looks old, the apartment is very comfortable, has air conditioning, TV, an iron, washing machine, a dehumidifier in the bathroom, a fully furnished kitchen, and windows with mosquito protection. It is very safe as well.

Florence is definitely one of my favourite cities! Near the studio we rented there is a bus stop, tram, but you can easily walk to the train station and the city centre. The host, a particularly kind and friendly man , gave us countless information. He even called a travel agency for us and booked us on a day trip to Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa. And if that wasn't enough, he picked us up in his car and took us to admire Florence from piazzale Michelangelo and the Abazzia di San Miniato al Monte. We'll happily return to Florence, especially since I know where we'll be staying.
