La Casa degli Angeli è una dimora dall'ingresso indipendente situata in un vicoletto della famosa via delle Botteghelle. Si struttura su tre livelli collegati da una scala in marmo: piano terra dedicato all'ingresso cucina (sala colazione), primo livello per una grande camera da letto caratterizzata da due balconi e bagno interno ed infine il secondo livello per una camera matrimoniale composta da un balcone e da un bagno privato esterno situato accanto ad essa. La passione per i dolci puttini, che si possono ammirare in molti quadri e soprammobili, dà il nome al b&b che possiede un design ricercato: mobili antichi, parquet, travi in legno, ceramiche vietresi ed infine cuscini e tende rigorsamente creati e cuciti a mano.
Sono Federica Colabene, proprietaria ed host della struttura. Da 10 anni vivo a La Casa degli Angeli che solo nel 2019 diventa anche b&b. L'intera casa è stata ristrutturata da mio padre, per cui per me ogni suo angolo ha un profondo valore affettivo. Vivo con i miei clienti per una migliore accoglienza e gestione dei miei ospiti. In questo modo posso facilmente gestire ogni richiesta al meglio. Mi delizio nel cosigliare tutti i luoghi in cui amo mangiare o trascorrere le mie giornate e, quando sono libera da impegni, passeggio con i miei ospiti mostrando loro il mio tanto amato centro storico.
La Casa degli Angeli è sita all'interno del Palazzo D'Avossa di costruzione seicentesca. Si trova nel cuore del centro storico di Salerno sulla Via delle Botteghelle, a poca distanza dal Duomo e dall'antica Via dei Mercanti. Il vicolo, che prende il nome dalla principessa Adelberga, è tranquillo e silenzioso sebbene ad un passo dalla movida salernitana. A soli 100 metri dalla struttura si possono visitare un'intera vastità di monumenti e chiese, tra cui la Cattedrale di Salerno, la Chiesa di San Pietro a Corte e la Chiesa di San Giorgio. Ma c'è spazio, oltre che per gli occhi, anche per il palato. Infatti il centro storico è ricco di pizzerie e ristorantini in cui gustare dell'ottimo pesce e prodotti tipici locali.
