I was in Cosenza only to sleep; i was there to find the birthplace of my Nonna in a nearby village, and that is where i spent my time. I also spent time resting and writing in my apartment that was very comfortable.

Both the old town and new town are extensive, and both are effective working, shopping and eating places. The old town has many interesting architectural features, and I also had dinner in the cathedral square, which was is a location of interesting character. The old town has very steep streets, but if you are fit enough, the effort will be rewarded. I will visit it again to explore it further.

Its a lovely old town and then there is a new city as well. The town has a University so there are plenty of people around. It felt very safe at night and we enjoyed the Restaurant about 10 minutes walk from our Apartment into the old city.

Cosenza's main street is a a vibrant pedestrian only street with great shops and restaurants. The remainder of the city is somewhat run down with the exception of the "old town" which is a great place to visit and wander around.

Cosenza is so close to the mountains, sea, and many wonderful historic towns in the region (like the centro storico of Rende). It's worth at least 5 days to explore it all! The Cosenza Centro Storico is worth a day on its own with the castle. I can't wait to go back and explore the area in more depth!
This place is a hidden gem. We are so glad that we had the pleasure in experiencing everything this had to offer. The restoration in this place was to perfection. Giacomo was very helpful and friendly and recommended a few places to dine at. We had the best dinner in Italy called Calabria Bella. The food was to die for and we ate the most amazing cheesecake we’ve ever had .. Michela prepared the most beautiful fresh breakfast, the best way to start the day. We will go back in heart beat.
The place is beautiful with a great view on Cosenza and a very nice garden. The room was very clean, confortable and quiet. We also had supper twice and it was absolutely wonderful, with lots of different local products deliciously prepared by Monica. Last but not least, the hosts where very helpful during our stay. I needed some medical care and they made dozens of phone calls to help me find a doctor and get treatment rapidly. Thank you so much for your help and your kindness !
I only did a one night stop over. It was perfect! I called when I arrived (after 10 pm) and I was talked through the entrance procedure. Room was nice, private (large) bathroom, mini fridge, bottle of water, comfy bed & pillows. Was walking distance to the bus station, shopping blvd, the river with historic buildings and a flea market! Breakfast voucher for a Cafe across street (best latte in Italy so far).
This B&B is strategically located between the old and the new part of town, allowing easy access to either. Street parking is easily available, thanks to the help of Sonia, your host, who is extremely welcoming, accommodating, available and generous. The structure offers spacious and comfortable rooms and the breakfast, featuring both sweet and salty fare, is amongst the best we ever had in Italy.
This residence was very clean and beautifully decorated. There are even little sweets left for us! The owner met us and is extremely helpful! There are stores and a restaurant at the street level, very convenient! Only a 5 minute walk to the center of Cosenza central where all the shops and eateries are located.
Book here and you will be very happy

Helped us park the car in very busy circumstances! Hotel is a block away from fabulous restaurants bars cafes and shopping - definitely a hidden gem
Great location in the historic district, 2 blocks from the Cathedral. Excellent restaurants & cafes nearby. Short walk to Corso Mazzini pedestrian mall & national art gallery. Beautiful view from the room & breakfast terrace looking across the tiled rooftops of the historic center to the lush green hills that surround Cosenza.
The room was big, comfortable bed, soft towels, large bathroom and shower. Our host was very attentive and always willing to assist. The place is located in the center of town and easily walkable to Corso Mazzini and the historic area. Free parking close by. I would stay at Brettia Guest Rooms next time I return to Cosenza.
We had a great stay at Epoca Home. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning on the terrace! Everything was very clean, organized and the staff was friendly and helpful! The location is fantastic in Cosenza right on the pedestrian avenues with lots of shops and restaurants. We would love to stay here again!
The service is excellent, the owner is always super helpful and friendly, it is the second time we have stayed and if I have to go to Cosenza again I would definitely stay there.
The rooms are very clean.
During the quick check-in I've had all the information I needed. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable and made my stay in Cosenza even nicer. I would definitely come back here on my next trip!
Modern minimalistic rooms right in the center of Cosenza. Also the service from the owner is excellent.
Keys are outside so you dont need to see anyone, you pay and enter your room.
It was a beautiful hidden hotel in the heart of the old district. Tall ceilings and tile flooring. Very clean place to stay. Would recommend a stay to friends for sure.
Stunning villa on a mountaintop in Cosenza, Monica and her family so beautiful, kind, welcoming, a wonderful stay and we only wish we could have stayed longer.
