Decent room Comfortable bed Reasonable breakfast Central location
Great location, spacious and spotless rooms. Fantastic bed.
Staff could be overly helpful wanting to book trips etc. A bit too much at times.
Mini Bar and laundry free of charge
Transfer car to airport 30 minutes delayed
Friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, free minbar, large room, good cable TV.
Minor irritation was getting eggs at breakfast. One morning only order never arrived despite reminding the cook.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Memoire this weekend, on our first trip to Siem Reap. The hotel arranged pickup and drop-off at the airport, which made arrival and departure convenient (even bringing wet towels and waters for our arrival). When we got to the hotel, we were greeted with a refreshing drink (standard at nicer Asian hotels) and accomodating service. We were able to get into our room before check-in, which allowed us to get settled quickly before heading out for the day. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It's right between the temples and the Old Market district. (We took a 10-minute walk to the Old Market district for lunch and tuk-tuks were only a few minute ride to everywhere that we went). The room was spacious, extremely clean, and comfortable; and the value was great. I am definitely a stickler for cleanliness (HATE even slightly dirty rooms) and was extremely satisfied here. We booked our tour (one-day) of the temples through the hotel and were given Mr. Sopa. He was incredible! It's possible that all of the travel guides are good, but I recommend you ask for him based on my experience. He was extremely knowledgable, spoke great English, and was fun and entertaining. Since it was just my girlfriend and I, we were able to go at our own pace and he was always willing (and happy) to take our pictures and point out the best spots to take them with great ideas (not to mention he worked the iPhone camera better than I can and the pictures all came out perfectly). All of the staff at the hotel was very friendly, checking on us, asking us about our stay, and carrying general conversation with us as we came and went. The facilities were good, with a small gym, a pool, and a spa. We didn't use the gym/pool, but used the spa (my massage was average and nothing extraordinary, but my girlfriend says hers was great). The prices are reasonable/good and staying at the hotel afforded us a 20% discount as well during certain hours!
The wifi in the rooms is not great. It took a very long time for my girlfriend and I to send pictures to each other, but in other areas of the hotel it didn't seem to be so slow. A very, very minor complaint for an overall great experience.
we were staying for 3 days promptly attended by staff, very kind and helpful, made efforts to please us and especially Mr. Noeng (Jack) always smiling gave us a pleasant stay in Siem rap..recomendo this hotel .. very nice
Mediocre breakfast at best, slow WiFi
Shower room do not have door
The staff was very nice & helpful. The hotel offers free packaged breakfast if you are going for a sunrise tour, it has very nice decor and for me the location was ideal...still walking distance to the centre but far enough to enjoy peace & quiete when I am trying to sleep
Minor note...but during our stay there were plumbing works going on, so for the eveninng the bathroom smelled a bit. The swimming pool also had the same smell.
Spacious-great service- very friendly staff-love the welcoming fruit bowl nd little daily treats-very good breakfast selection- close to pub street and shopping mall is next door.
Air conditioning wasn' t working properly
The pool was great & the breakfast. Free minibar & laundry service!
The massage was way too expensive and by far not as good as the massage I got in Thailand.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was very nice
The room could have been a little better maintained
For us, everything was as good as it gets from the location and the staff to the breakfast, free airport shuttle and free laundry. Would certainly return and recommend.
Nothing springs to mind.
Everything, a majority of the staff were excellent, the room magnificent, breakfast an absolute feast and the pool area very restful [except the cats].
The WiFi did not work effectively around the hotel, you had to sit in the foyer to have good reception. Also night manager was appalling when we booked out, initially lights off all asleep, then couldnt put two thoughts together. Not the behaviour expected at this hotel
I loved the breakfast, the decoration, the pool, and the staff
They could renew the aircon, it is noisy
The service was great, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We would def stay here again! Big pluses were free laundry, minibar and the breakfast
Nothing comes to mind
It is like coming back to your own home in Siem Reap where you are treated like family. Excellent service by highly trained staff; comfortable well -appointed rooms; nice pool; good food; convenient location - all these just makes you want to come back to stay again. Perfect for business or leisure.
Rooms do not come with a balcony but that's not a major issue.
. the kindness of all the staff. . the New Year party was very joyful and well organised.
. the massage service is really not good and much too expensive, compared to the salons in town! ( the personnel does not seem professionnal at all...) .bathroom with fixe shower... and quiet old and dark...
The staff were friendly and helpful. The extras that come with the room were a big plus and added to the value for money provided by the hotel: free drinks in minibar (water, soda, beer); free laundry (a huge plus); included airport transfer. We also organized a tuk tuk driver through the hotel to take us to the temples. We were really pleased with our driver.
The breakfast buffet was just ok. There is a mall nearby with quite loud music in the evening, but it doesn't last until the wee hours of the morning.
Very well located hotel with good facilities and excellent professional staff.
The traditional dancers/dinner organised by the hotel was not worth the money. There are probably better options for this elsewhere.
The bed was a good size The staff were friendly
The rooms were not very clean. There is construction work on the shopping mall next door in the middle of the night starting at 11pm. The hotel has no control over this.We moved rooms at 2am and was asked by the duty manager when we would be leaving this room as they had guests coming in the morning! There was no hotel pick up as promised at the airport. The breakfast bar has lots of flies and the cutlery is not very clean.
Excellent friendly service, complimentary airport pick-up, free wifi, free laundry, good location
Breakfast could be improved
Location, good breakfast, attentive staff, WiFi signal had a good strength alla around the place
Everything; the Staff were very attentive and friendly; rooms large and comfortable; the complete hotel was neat and clean, nice furnishings; breakfast was plentiful with a good selection. Tuk tuks at the door, but it was good walk to the old quarter. We have travelled throughout SE Asia and like Cambodia and love the people.
