Clean, nice and helpful staff, and good location
April 9, 2015
We only stayed one night:(
Location, staff, pool, room, bed, cost, everything really. Hotel is very close to the airport and Angkor Wat, couldn't be better. staff was very friendly and helpful. It was the best hotel that we stayed in during our Thailand-Cambodia trip and one of the cheapest. If you are planning to visit Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, The Bayon, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Room a bit too dark I can't read my book in bed.
Free pick up and drop off at the airport.

I'm usually more of a hostel kinda guy but when I do splurge & stay at fancy hotels, the staff usually picks up on it pretty quickly and make me feel unwelcome. This was not the case with Pacific hotel & spa. Everyone was very warm and kind with me while maintaining the decorum you'd expect from a place like this. They even bumped me to a colonial suite free of charge. The restaurant was magnificent and the food was spectacular. Oh and after a day of sweaty temple hopping at Angkor (which the staff helped me arrange), I was so glad to come home to the pool. Thank you so much, you've made this holiday a memory I'll treasure forever!

worst thing: the band! They are playing every evening from 6 to 10 pm and you can here them in your room very very loud. This is even not that disturbing but the most important thing is that they really CAN'T sing! No one of the three singers is able to get one single tone right, it's just AWFUL, pain in the ears. The hotel should really look for another band.
- staff was very nice and helpful - room very comfortable - great breakfast buffet - free airport shuttle

The staff, the room

The band was unacceptable. Should change into just regular music cause i wanst able to take a rest because of their loud and ridiculous music standard. Also wifi wasnt working well.
Service the worker provide, settin up the tour package were nice. Also the breakfast was satisfied.

Staff is over bearing, too polite, too friendly. The food isnt great at the hotel and services (laundry, spa, drinks) are very expensive
Hotel is clean, rooms are nice and the pool area is great.

Location, just a little too far out if you want to be close to the main area with all the restaurants and markets etc. however, perfect for the airport.
Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds, good food. The size of the hotel is large for the competition, we only stayed briefly for one night but had a great time and couldn't have been helped more. It's s shame it's so far out, but ideal for the airport which is what we wanted. If you were staying in Siem Reap for longer, you might want to stay further into the town area.

- The hotel is very remote, we didn't like to walk outside as it didn't seem very safe so this really impacted our stay. - WiFi was poor, really inconsistent day and night but especially in the evening and it didn't work at all in our separate bedroom. Not sure if this is because of high number of users as hotel seems to have lots of big tour groups arrive in the evening - Sadly the hotel band are not very good, this really impacted our enjoyment of our stay as we had to listen to them every night between 6-10pm, our room was above the stage area. Absolutely dire sounding from the room, it really felt like torture and there was no escaping it apart from the restaurant. The hotel really needs to turn it down a bit as it was disturbing. And because the hotel is so rural it is not easy to escape. - the gym was nothing short of a hazard zone. I go to the gym every day normally but tried it once here and gave up quickly. Most of the equipment is older than me...I am 32!!! Tried to use the treadmill and almost injured myself, there was no safety bars and the tread moved about under your feet. Not to mention the worn wiring at the plug. So unsafe it scared me. Tried to use a couple of the other machines and they barely moved with rust and old age. It was so bad I would get rid of the gym before someone gets hurt. Absolutely nothing like the pictures I saw. Also has the worst air con in the world in the gym. - I would say the pool bar and mini bar were quite expensive for drinks $3 for a can of juice.
- Airport Pick up & drop off was great & free - Nice warm welcome at the hotel from staff - Pacific Suite room was nice and big, had everything we needed - Hotel organised a tour, including a driver & guide - hassle free and very enjoyable - Nice and close to Anchor temples - Lovely pool area & nice big pool, great for relaxing - Poolside food and restaurant food were great, really nice taste to everything we tried during or 5 night stay. - Good spa facilities, very professional and good treatment options. Also got some discounts. - Staff really were excellent, couldn't do enough for you - Good Laundering service, was not expensive.

We spent 5 nights at the Pacific Hotel, a truly amazing place to chill out. Our accommodation was upgraded and the staff could not do enough to help make our stay a memorable one. After dancing to the band the previous evening, the Day Spa on the premises allowed us to spoil ourselves with a massage.

The relaxed, friendly, yet very professional 5* service and attention.

the nightly entertainment was out of tune:-(
we loved our stay at the pacific. The staff were amazingly attentive, polite and full of smiles. We were asked several times if everything was alright for us during our stay. The room was lovely and very clean. The hotel was about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from the bars and restaurants in siem reap, with return tuks from the hotel for 8 us dollars. I would thoroughly recomend staying here.

They gave me a wonderful upgrade to a suite. The breakfast was large with many good offerings. Right out front were Tuk-tuks. I hired the same guy for 3 days and he took me to different temples everyday.
