We were extremely satisfied with the outstanding service provided by the hotel staff. In particular, Ramzan's warm welcome truly brightened our day. The swimming pool was exceptional, and the room facilities were top-notch. We would like to express our gratitude to the front office team, including Pawan, Ishara, and the front office manager, Irfan. Our stay in room 402 was delightful, offering a breathtaking view and ample space. We sincerely appreciate Radisson hotel for creating such a memorable experience for us.

Stunning hotel with amazing view over Kandy.
Beautifully appointed rooms, all with amazing views
Wonderful staff, extremely helpful
It's lovely seeing all the wildlife
Amazing food
To be honest, I couldn't really fault this hotel
The hotel manager was lovely
Could do with having a few rooms with grabrails in the toilets as I was disabled
And an odd shower with a grab rail
And non-slip floors would make this hotel absolutely perfect
Trying to find disabled rooms Asia is always extremely hard

The staff were really nice and friendly and helped us a lot. The food was yummy with lots of choices. They made sure we had everything we needed. Even though it was raining, the hotel felt cozy and nice inside. It was a comfy place to be. Watching it rain outside and staring at the Sri Lankan Lillies in the pond outside was a magical moment.

A cultural eye-opener.
A cultural eye-opener. Lots to see and do - but most major attractions are spread far from one another. Expect to take a couple full days touring Kandy and the surrounding areas. Two of my strongest recommendations: the British Was Cemetery. The caretaker has tended the graveyard for decades and knows each detail about each soul laid to rest. Also a sight worth seeing is Peradeniya University. A remarkable campus that lives up to its reputation as one of the nicest in all of South Asia.

The botanical gardens was amazing and really value to visit.
The botanical gardens was amazing and really value to visit. I didn't interested to see the famous temple and another one important thing is in commuting hours the traffic jam was remarkable and every one should calculate staying in the traffic in their schedule .

Transit point to big attractions in Sri Lanka. Ie.
Transit point to big attractions in Sri Lanka. Ie. Ella, Sigriya, Dambulla and Polonaruwa. Gateway to mountainous region of Sri Lanka. Kandy is also a historical town with famous Temple of Tooth. This town is best served with affordable eateries and several modes of transportation. Cooler weather compared to the Sri Lankan capital city, Colombo.

An ancient hill capital, a religious city.
An ancient hill capital, a religious city. Has a lot to offer. Range of good restaurants, affordable.
beautiful scenery, friendly people, gem stores, shopping malls - overall a good city.
Sometimes heavy traffic.
One of the city in Sri Lanka that has Pick Me (local version of Uber) in use, avoids unnecessary negotiations with three wheelers and taxis
I stayed at Oak Ray Regency hotel for three nights and I was very impressed by the quality of service and facilities. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, with nice interior decor and amenities. The hotel had ample carpark space and a good restaurant that served excellent buffet breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly, and always ready to assist with any requests. Overall, I would recommend Oak Ray Regency hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable stay in Kandy.
My wife and me spent 9 days at the Kandy Unique Hotel: we walked in the mountains, through tea plantations, and visited temples. We used to have 1 hour walks to the city center and returned to the hotel by tuk-tuk. The mountain view from the hotel terrace is magnificent, especially at sunset. Very friendly staff. Many thanks to Vishwa for delicious breakfasts and dinners. We had dinner 7 times and every time it was something new! Our opinion of Sri Lankan cuisine has grown even more
Loved my stay here! All the staff is so friendly and wanting to help. They had good tips for my stay in Kandy, but also for the rest of my stay in Sri Lanka. The hotel is very clean and since it's a new hotel, everything still looks good. I had an upgrade to a private room, but the dorm looked fine as well. Also the location is great, within 15 minutes you're at the temple of tooth which is next to the city centre. Would like to thank the amazing staff to make my stay the best!
Outstanding views over Kandy from my suite, extremely welcoming staff and delicious food. Thank you to Ajith W. and the team there for an amazing stay, always willing to understand the customer needs and making sure they can provide the best service at the hotel. I had the pleasure to meet the chef for a cooking experience, really worth trying! I also got a list of ingredients to be able to cook the most delicious sri lankan curry! I can not wait to go back again. Thank you
Wow, what views. We stayed up on the top floor with floor to ceiling window overlooking jungle... it was an AMAZING sight to wake up to each morning. As the hotel is a little out of the city it is VERY QUIET, just nature sounds at night. Although out of town, its still an easy walk down the hill and around the lake into the city... would definitely recommend a tuk tuk back up the hill though! We're off to stay there again when we're back in Kandy.
Great facilities and we were treated like the royal family.
We stayed here the first 5 days of our visit to Sri Lanka. Hotel pickup arranged by the hotel was comfortable with a van. We rented the van with driver for the full stay. The hotel has everting you need. The rooms are very big and the staff is unbelievable friendly and helpful. From this place you can go to Kandy, the elephant orphanage, golf course and much more of course.
The food is excellent. Theres many options, sri Lankan food and western food available and also a menu for kids. Pool is very nice and relaxing. Staff members are very polite and helpful and will stay up until late hours until you come back to the hotel. Hotel is very close to the town and main attractions in kandy. Bed was very comfortable. The room had all the modern amenities you would need. Lot of greenery surrounding the hotel.
Rooms are very clean.
Bathroom was exceptional. Good water pressure and didn't take long for hot water to click.
Staff was very helpful and made my stay easy and comfortable.
Location was great as it is in the middle of the Kandy city and you can walk to shops and temple of tooth.
I also went to Bahirawakanda by tuk tuk and it's very short distance from the hotel too.
This hotel is one of the best hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka.
Staff were exceptionally good and nice. We were greeted with coconut water and cold towel on arrival. Breakfast was stunning. Staff helped us arrange onwards travel by tuk tuk. They allowed left luggage. Best shower we experienced across 6 different hotels in Sri Lanka. Spotlessly clean. Rooms with views had amazing views (hotel is nestled on a big hill).
Biggest compliment we can give is that we couldn't stay for longer!
A large and quiet room away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. Just a quick 10 minute tuk tuk to the centre of town, which cost approx rs 500. The grounds and communal areas were gorgeous - surrounded by trees and lush foliage. We had a morning swim and it felt like paradise. The staff were more than willing to assist with drinks, luggage, tuk tuks and anything else we needed. Fully recommend. Thank you for having us!!
This place has lots of character, the inner yard is beautiful and peaceful. Little oasis in the hustle and bustle of Kandy town.
Super friendly staff! We really enjoyed breakfast at the hotel restaurant and definitely recommend dinner at the traditional sri lankan restaurant downstairs for those who are more adventurous for some local "spicy" food.
First of all the best food we had in Sri Lanka, Alexandra is really an amazing chef. Both Alexandra and Michael were incredible hosts and very helpful. They have a beautiful house very well looked after. The location is great, close enough to Kandy center but outside enough to have the quiet. Great pool, good rooms. Absolutely recommend this stay!
Exceptional place to stay. The best food we had in Sri Lanka, superb rooms and view and wonderful staff who went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one, including driving us to our next stay near to the airport prior to going home. We walked the first part of the Pekoa Trail after being dropped off by tuk tuk from the hotel. Stunning.
Our first days in Sri Lanka passed in this place, and it couldn’t have been better. The hotel’s been only operating for more than a month after the lockdown, so we’re spreading the word that this place is truly amazing. Since it’s in Kandy and lots of people go on tours, they help to organize everything.
Great central location in a peaceful area near the lake. 15 minutes walk from the temple. Clean room, comfortable bed, cold air-conditioning, English TV channels, ok wifi, shower has good water pressure and plenty of hot water. I've stayed in three different hotels in Kandy, and this is my favorite.
Clean rooms, Bathrooms with good & quiet AC units. Great location in the city of Kandy. Even though it’s a busy area in day time you can’t hear much noise to the room that we booked and very quiet in the night.
There is a restaurant across the road where you can get amazing Sri Lankan food.
Jaye's homestay features cozy rooms with great view on Kandy town. The host is very helpful with advice and even lended us some utencils. You get option of Sri lankan and english breakfast and I recommend to take the Sri Lankan because it is delicious. with a lot of local fruit
Lovely place to stay. There is no single thing to say all awesome. One of the top superb hotels in Kandy. I think this is a nice and cool for the price. I will visit again. Owner is a superb person helps me to got the town also. Perfect !
The rooms are very big and the hotel is spotless clean. The staff is amazing and so helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel ! If I come back to Kandy would love to stay again in this place .
Thank you to all the staff
