Location: with in 10 to 15 minutes walk to most of the attractions Staff: friendly and try to help although they don't speak English. Price is reasonable

Fairly average decor, rooms can be noisy, wifi may or may not work, airconditioning struggles plenty of ants in the rooms on the ground floor, breakfast is very basic and few things run out by 9 am, crockery with cracked edges and shortage of spoons

    Pool and gardens area. Location

Facility's need updating, this hotel is useless unless you are French speaking, we did try speaking in French but the staff are not sympathetic or willing to try to understand! Unorganised, no transfers arrived even though previously arranged! Organised a cake for a 40th birthday, this didn't arrive, after speaking with other guests they also had the same or similar issues. Seems to be a pattern!!

    Very friendly staff

Staff were helpful they made every effort to communicate effectively despite the language barrier. Staff at the hotel mostly speak French with very little English. Wifi was available at all times excellent service.

Decor in the rooms is poor it seemed as if they were carrying out some decor work in our room (3). Limited choice on food -selection very poor. Breakfast, early bird or you miss out on the limited selection. Will not use hotel in the future. Moved to Sofitel Marrakech. Excellent service. Limited

Value for money and a great location.

Communication-difficult to understand the staff if you didn't speak French. Which was a shame

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were pleasantly decorated. It was a good base.

The staff were not particularly friendly. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms. The wi fi only worked intermittently.

We did not bring our passports as we were staying for one night only and were only travelling in Marocco without border crossing. The very rude lady at the desk would not let us check-in but told us to go to the police to get some provisional passport. It took us severall hours to check-in (our other hotel in Agadir send copies at the ende) and we did experience any support from the Chem Hotel team and manager. Further, we paid all calls to solve this issue which was very expensive as we had to use our German mobile phone.

I liked the garden and pool. A nice place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options though no vegetables. I tried the buffet dinner one night as I was too tired to walk to city and it was very good except for dessert which was less a than average. Wifi was excellent for one day but I kept having problems connecting to room wifi but lobby wifi was working well (never had this problem with my iPhone before).

Wifi problems; although staff on the second day came and resolved wifi room connection problem. But the next day, as I walked to lobby, it wouldn't re- connect to room again (but I didn't bother as I was leaving). I also saw one dead cockroach in bathroom on last day!

Stray cats on premises in eating and dining area. Dinner and breakfast service staff not as attentive as we would have liked.

Nice pool and outside restaurant area. Convenient location for old and new towns.

Probably the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in between hours of 8-11am. If you like a lie-in then this isn't the hotel for you. Cleaners and maintenance are very noisy, and the chambermaids regularly just let themselves into our room before 9am without even knocking!

Perfect location. Walking distance from main attractions. Swimming pool to relax with children. Big and quiet family rooms. Good breakfast.

Personnel at check-in desk speaks only French, no English. Rooms are quite basic.
