The location, staff and price/quality
The wifi is not really good and the bed is not a lot comfortable
The hotel has an authentic feel with a very nice garden. Rooms were spacious. No problems with hot water and heating. Staff responded promptly to requests. Comfortable but not luxurious enough to be 4 star.
Wi-fi was available but very poor connectivity. Lighting in the rooms was extremely dim, even with an extra lamp that we requested.
We were in a nice room facing the pool, with a beautiful balcony. Next to the medina.
Breakfast is poor. Staff at the reception is really not friendly, specially the two ladies. There is no double beds in the hotel, only single beds put together.
We enjoyed the location the staff service especially the guy who handles the bags very very good service. Location is good. Security is good taxis and horse carriage outside building . Nice place overall.ps excellent shower
The rooms could do with some new furniture some English channels would be good. Also breakfast could be better not really fresh as it should be. Also wifi could do with fixing as it keeps going on and off. And it would be better to have information on English wouldattrat. More customers
Heated pool, tennis court, table tennis, breakfast buffet, great location. Travel agency within the hotel that offers day trips. Overall friendly staff.
The pillows weren't very comfortable but we slept well anyways. The room was a bit cold during the night as there were gaps in the window but it was ok when we had long sleeved shirts on during the night. The WiFi is not very reliable but it is ok when it connects.
The location was within walking distance of the square. It seemed closer than most other tourists we talked to. "Free" breakfast.
Based on the price we paid, we were quite dissatisfied. There was nothing special about the hotel, but also nothing wrong with it. No good view and the interior is quite bland, both in common areas and in the rooms. I felt like I was at a La Quinta inn. We were English speakers and chose this hotel since it had English as a spoken language. However the English was very poor, scheduling a cab and paying for the hotel was a pain. A riad seems to be a better value from what I hear, and I can't imagine they are any worse at English. Definitely going to try a riad next time and not give hotel chems even more money.
Just back from my break in Chems hotel had a great time, breakfast was very nice and the staff were very helpfull, I wou definitely recommend this hotel, very central to souks.
good location and good hotel
Really close to the Jma El Fnna, 5 min walking, but far enough from all the noise and mess.
The bar closes at 11pm.
location and garden
The lady Bushra in reception is not a hospitality professional at all, she was shouting to us infront of other guests to force us to take other room for our kids, I was trying to explain to her that the hotel policy is clear about that but she made our stay a night mare for not booking another room for kids... this is not acceptable at all
Good hotel for the money-peaceful but central location-brilliant pool
Wifi connection was a little patchy in the room
Friendly staff, excellent value for money. The garden and pool was wonderful.
Wifi not very good.
Bacon not good like it was last year
Location Simple process at desk
Staff a little sterile
Convient for walks into main square, easy to find, heated swimming pool. Somewhere to get very reasonable priced booze in a very dry city. Clean and comfortable rooms with aircon.
Lack of English speakers, but managed to get everything eventually. Lounge seats could be more comfortable. More 3 star than 4, but was very good value.
Location was perfect, close to main square and medina.
Excellent location with genuinely cheerful, helpful staff. Everything needed on site. Great massage so had a second one.Great heated pool.Did not expect to have French Immersing included! Quiet, spotless front second floor room. Was totally satisfied.Definitely recommend.
Lumpy pillows and one rude lady receptionist..... NOT Fatjja who was excellent.
Location near to medina and bus routes. Poolside snack bar excellent.
Smoking in bar/lobby area.
The cleaners were very friendly. Also the reception guy Yusseff was heplpful. Breakfast was very good and enjoyable. The waiters in the restaurant were polite and friendly
The reception staff did not speak hardly any english and were in general a bit difficult when asked for any help. There was no one to greet me on arrival or take my bags to the room. After a 14 hour journey I was tired and had to get three room cards to try and get into the room.. After the third card, was offered another room.. Changed rooms after six days into a ten day stayn as the showerhead did not have a holder on the wall.
- clean (though basic) room - nice breakfast buffet
- internet is free but extremely slow and filtered. I could hardly check my emails and browse. anything else impossible - minimal English. You need to know French otherwise talking will be difficult - they charge outlandish fees for taxis (not sure about this one but when I asked them to call a taxi for the airport and then I shared a couple the driver asked the full fee from both of us - upon enquiry he said he needs to pay a kickback fee to the hotel for each client hence the price) - just be warned, such practices are common place in Morocco.
Relaxing poolside with limited menu but nice gardens.. decent breakfast...
Wifi difficult to get on...poor view from room even though the hotel was empty!
Location, quality of facilities, staff approachable, breakfast buffet choice
Bar closing time was 11pm
cheap and cheerful, location close to medina nice restaurant
weak wifi ... but not a big deal a little difficult to find at first.... poor signage
Location is perfect for exploring the square market place. Staff is nice enough, but no extra effort. Hotel is clean.
Rooms are very dated, dark, and beds below average. Don't know how this is a 4-star hotel. No shower, only bathtub which is annoying and WiFi only worked on occasion and very slow.
