The staff was warm and kind! They went out of their way to help and assist in anyway possible. We had a great time
Comfortable, clean, calm.
Nothing at this price.
Location only 3 km from Volubilis. Nice city with only a few tourists. Perfect place and not expensive when you travel from Fez to Meknes and want to visit Volubilis. Parking near the hotel was free if charge. (For Geocachers: a cache is nearby!)
The food in the hotel is reasonable.
Clean, located right next to the grand taxis, easy to find because there are clear directions. Clean towels, sheets and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Some rooms have ac, others don't. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi in the room. Decent breakfast given the price and it comes with a wonderful view. Staff somewhat distant but helpful. Knowing French will make your life easier. Excellent value for money. Volubilis about 45 minutes on foot and the main attractions about less than 10 minutes away on foot. Staff was not pushy at all into trying to sell any extra tour or visit. Good place to rest.
My room didn't have ac but I was given a choice between that and another that did, so this was totally my doing. This turned out to not be a problem. No shower curtain but this is common in Morocco. Some minor problems with the bathroom doorknob. Overall, nothing really wrong with the place.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Treated you like family, nothing too difficult. Close proximity to local attractions. A very nice town to visit. Karen Sydney
Large ensuite room. Wonderful views from breakfast room. Very helpful staff.
After two weeks of riads (and hotels trying to pass as "riads"), this hotel was a nice change of pace. Our room was very spacious, clean and bright. The shower was hot, the blankets were warm, and breakfast (with a panoramic view) was delicious! Everyone was really nice and friendly. It's right near the main square and market, and the street noise and roosters can be a little loud during the day but everything in Moulay Idriss quiets down at night. We would definitely stay here again!
no heating ? Dec ??
Friendly Staff, Wifi, Nice Breakfasts, Heating by air-con, Location (near grand taxi stand)
Many of the rooms had the air-con not working properly.
1. hard to find 2. No balcony (although they are written)
The owner drew us an excellent map for two alternative walks to Volubilis and allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel. The bed was very comfortable.
Quiet hotel in beautifull area. Easy to reach by grand taxi from Meknes (10 Dirham, about1 euro). Breakfast is very nice Walking distance to Volubilis
Beds were very hard, shower was often cold. They did not clean the room/ make the beds during our stay (3 nights).
good place for visiting Moulay Idriss and Volubilis, nice terrace for breakfast and nice room with view to the rich fields near Volubilis.
they told us they accept credit cards, in the morning they asked to pay cash, was unpractical for us
The price was right. The room was OK, spacious but well-used, with a comfortable bed and working aircon, wifi and TV. My room did not have a view or balcony. The shower needed repair but was promptly fixed. I was initially offered a room with a view, but its bathroom was across a public corridor. Breakfast met my needs; I ate excellent soups for lunch.
The staff were pleasant to deal with but not always easy to find. I appeared to be the only customer in the third-floor (no elevator) restaurant and usually had to call out to the private quarters to get service. Lots of steps to go down and up for a weary senior, especially if reception on the first floor was unoccupied and staff had to be sought on the third floor. The positives outweighed the negatives.
