Lovely hotel, staff were great, food was fine and the Al la Carte was excellent for an extra £7. The spa was nice, entry £7 for the day and treatments are good value. Main pool was lovely if a bit cold but the smaller one is heated. For the price we paid approx. £110 per night AI you can't go wrong, and we would go back. Only pay 100 DH for a petit taxi to and from the Airport.
The Wi-Fi is a bit iffy, it does work but very very slow at times. Breakfast is chaotic if you leave it late. Located in the middle of nowhere so there is nowhere to really walk to, but we knew that before booking.
animation team try hard
Food - very bland and repetitive - a lot of recycling going on at lunch and dinner - same foods. Sometimes not edible at all. wifi rubbish except in reception non english speaking or limited english spoken staff staff and notices in hotel hard beds uncomfortable family rooms have sofas converted into beds not good for small children cleaning very lazy and minimal every day not a five star european standard max 3 or 4 star no food in poolside bar limited non alcoholic drinks cats walking around restaurant restaurant is like a uni canteen no character very busy and very noisy little to do or see in surrounding area - in the middle of a barren run down unbuilt road with unfinished projects Centre or Marrakesh 20 mins by cab for 50 dh altho some taxis will charge up to 100 dh limited evening entertainment - tacky; embarrassing; mainly in French;
Thank you so much for the hall team!! We will back
We liked everything about the kenzi hotel!
Nothing let us down
i really had good time at this place entertainment was good staff was really helpfull room was nice and clean .
wifi was bit poor thats it otherwise everything good
everything - service, facilities and shutlebus. Food also good for the price.
The bed was a little bit to hard.
The staff were really lovely and friendly especially the entertainment crew. The hotel was lovely and the gardens immaculate.
The restaurant we felt really let this hotel down. The food was awful and very very repetitive. The tables in the restaurant we plastic and although the waiters were very kind and friendly, it became a cattle market when busy and it was hard to find a clean table, all this being in a non busy time - end of January. We would never go to this hotel in the height of the season. There was no where to go if it was overcast apart from the snack bar (no snacks provided) with no cover at all. There were no comfortable lounges to go where you could warm up and get a warm coffee or tea. Being in an area where it is just hotels and more hotels being built we felt like we were in a prison slightly! If it wasn't for the entertainment crew who were funny and really chatty, we would have gone stir crazy. I would not go to this hotel again.
Outdoor pool with warm water. Great food. Shuttle bus to madina. Only 10 min from airport.
Animation team need to do better and more cheerful. Only spider was a happy chappy.
Very good price for all it includes. Friendly and helpful staff.
Wifi not so good on the rooms, had to go outside to catch signal
the room is not good no kattele or cafe machine inside
Family friendly atmosphere and nice big rooms. Friendly staff
Similar type of food daily.
Internet was bad. And beds uncomfortable
Beautiful grounds. Nice rooms. Nice staff. Good shuttle to city center.
No apparent flexibility on staying in room for late check out. For such a nice place, the beds were not that comfortable. No wi-fi signal in room.
Cheap (for all the food you can eat). Shuttle to Jemaa El Fna. Maroccan tea is good.
Awful staff, lazy and not interested in their guesses. Didn't get WiFi in our room, we complaint at least 5 times and always received the same lazy answer: "ok, i will call someone, bye", we have to request a new room, they gave us a new one in front of the WiFi antenna and we were able to get connection (but very slow!), also, no connection in common areas except for reception. Food is repetitive but ok, i think they are very creative in reusing the same things over and over again. Drinks are terrible! first, they don't know how to do cocktails so you need to pick from the menu, and you will get basically water with sugar and 1% of alcohol. They charge you extra for using the spa's pool ("heated" pool) or gym, so forget about the all-inclusive there. Very few people of the staff speak english, and they don't even bother to keep communicating if you start to speak in english. Taxi drivers outside the hotel will charge you more just for staying in the Kenzi.
We loved everything about this wonderful hotel. The buffet has the most delicious food - Moroccan and every other nationality catered for. The staff are polite and welcoming - nothing is too much trouble. Excursions are a must - these can be arranged at reception, jeep trip to High Atlas Mountains to have mint tea in a Berber village, bus tour to walled city of Essaouira on the Atlantic a must. Fabulous experience!
The entertaining staff were excellent - our kids loved the dancing at night and the games during the day. They loved Basketball, Table Tennis, Tennis - we had absolutely no complaints about Kenzi Club Agdal Medina Hotel in Marrakech!
Fantastic hotel set in beautiful grounds. Lots of entertainment. Hotels clean and Food was excellent.
Buffet restaurant is good. Hotel is family friendly with lots of activities Beautiful garden.
Rooms are large and very comfortable. Lots activities to take part. Varied food.
I didn't get my receipt after payment.
If you're English speaking, you will have a hard time from most of the staff. They are most if them only French speaking. In general they are very slow and not very service minded and helpful. The big pool is not heatet and therefore the slides closed all week. So be aware if travelling with kids. The all inclusive sucks. Don't do it. If they run out of something in the bar, it will not be replaced. Example no apple juice all week !?!? And the service in atlas restaurant is non existing. Every time you call the reception for anything, the response time will be at least 40 minutes. Actually I could keep on going about stuff I didn't enjoy.... Try another hotel !!!!!
In general the facilities seem ok but probanly for summer period.
Quality of drinks very poor and food acceptable.
Good size rooms, place is huge with plenty to do- would definitely stay here again when I go back to Marrakesh!
Wifi in room and most areas very poor, can only get a decent connection in reception. Food can be repetitive. Catering very French focused. Staff could be more approachable/ attentive. Sometimes you can stand in reception waiting for 10 minutes, not being served with 3-5 free staff standing at the desk
Great resort with an outstanding service. Very kind staff, food was very good (very good quality - outstanding - for being a buffet). Room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Garden and pool are clean and very well maintained.
Nothing to report on the hotel. Just one note for those traveling with children: be respectful of other guests and staff of the resort. Some parents should really learn to respect the hard work of a very professional and kind staff (and remember that having kinds doesn't mean "I can do whatever I want" and leave kids free to like animals).
The pool, the tagines and fish in the buffet restaurant, cocktails at the bar (strong!), drink on arrival, proximity to the airport
Double bed was two singles pushed together. Food overall in the buffet was poor - it really isn't difficult to cook potatoes (often served raw) and chicken (raw on one occasion). The soft drinks machine at the pool bar is absolutely COVERED in wasps by 11am and they often end up in your drink. Just wipe the machine down once an hour?? Main issue we had with the hotel surrounded the spa and the the Morroccan restaurant: - with the spa, we just wanted a traditional hammam. At some point the staff got us confused with somebody else and ended up giving me a leg massage and my partner a full body massage (eyes were covered during the treatment so didn't know what each other was having done) when we had finished the staff (who didn't speak English and we didn't speak French which admittedly added to the confusion) demanded an extra £50! Once we got guest services involved the spa staff tried to claim we had asked for the massages. Which wasn't just a mistake, it was a blatant lie. To be fair guest services managed to sort it with the spa manager that we could 'pay if we wanted to'... - for the Morroccan restaurant, we made a reservation at reception the day before. When we went for our meal we gave our room number in at the door and sat down to eat. Mid way through our soup (which was the same as the buffet) the waiter came and asked our room number again, claimed we hadn't made a booking and ASKED US TO LEAVE as there was only enough food for those that had booked. We went to reception and the girl we had made our booking with realised she had made an error and went and sorted it back at the restaurant. The waiter didn't give any apology what so ever and merely said 'I looked and your name wasn't in the book'. Being asked to leave a full restaurant is very, very embarrassing and not an experience I would wish to repeat. Just shockingly bad service!
Very comfy and well serviced rooms. All staff willing and eager to please .
Music played far too LOUD and at times for no apparent audience or participants in supposed activities. Lack of English speaking staff Lack of clear signage everywhere Lack of lighting on walkways Pitch black at times
