Location was good, near the clubs and restaurants.
Rooms where a little outdated.
The beach was lovely.
One 18-yr old girl died, yes died, by falling off the balcony of her room while I stayed at this hotel. Very sad situation and ruined the atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel could have prevented this easily by allowing windows to open slightly. On a different note, the hotel was overwhelmed with 16-21 year old 'kids'. All of whom drank to excess I had cockroaches in my room each night. Meals were just simply 'ok' and not exceptional. Surrounding area was full clubs, of people propositioning you for women, drugs, and more. The clubs were so loud they could be heard from your room from 11pm-3am each night. I travel for a living and this was far below my expectations. Also, while there on vacation the hotel staff will try to talk you into time share opportunities. So be careful for that as well.
With a hotel that is on the beach even an early jog in the sand is possible. It was close to the restaurant and shop district if you are without transport. Noon checkout which was helpful.
No free WiFi in the room, yes in common areas.
Staff was pleasant but front desk managers and staff seemed to be on the phone constantly trying to trouble shoot the patrons complaints and problems w facility etc. Nice staff.
Upon check in they did not have the correct rooms available. Due to poor condition of rooms; broken ac, water break into bathroom and hallway, mold on ceilings, mildew smell which bothered our asthma and allergies. We were moved 3 times in the less than 12 hours we stayed at the hotel. We checked out ASAP the next morning. So disappointing as it looked so wonderful and different online. Manager and staff were decent to us and they were clearly not responsible for the run down condition of the hotel rooms.
Loved our stay at Krystal Cancun. Rooms were quite noisey. Could hear everything in the rooms around us and the halls in the mornings. Pool area and beach were beautiful and relaxing.
Most staff were lovely and helpful but unfortunately some food staff were not friendly and being an all inclusive hotel they made you feel like a pain for ordering food/drinks and were rude at times. But in saying that it was not all staff and most staff were lovely and helpful and friendly.
to many locals not enough tourist
In need of internal renovations and upgrades to amenities.
I liked everything it was so much fun.
That my reservation was a mess I didn't know how I spend more that I was so pose to. Now I know it will be better nex time
Location, pretty beach, sushi bar.
The rooms were a bit sterile, the staff at the front desk looked like they hated their job. we were first put in a room on the far right side which is directly next door to Mandala beach club. our walls were vibrating the music and bass was that loud. we thankfully could get a room change. We also booked all inclusive but we still had to pay for anything in the mini bar but water. the restaurants available were ok but nothing compared to some of the other resorts I've stayed at.
The location The beach and pool area The food
The room was not very clean The shower's drain was clogged with someone else's hairs There were small spiders (about 2mm long) in the closet The floors in the entire hotel are extremely dangerous: they are like polished marble and since its a hotel in the beach which is open in many areas, it's common to have leaks or rain coming in, so many people we saw slipped and hit very hard (staff told us it was about 2-3people daily). They need to treat the floor to make it porous - otherwise they might face a severe acc
Location The view
The air condition was too noise.
Expensive hotel, there were works (drilling and similar) in the TWO surrounding rooms the whole day, hotel staff didn't do anything to stop the noise or to change our room.
The first thing that happened was they tried to change us to another hotel, we denied, so they gave us a room with view to hooters... And with cucarachas (bugs) in the bathroom. The front desk service couldn't be slower... I would never go back to it. Don't recomend it at all
our deluxe sea view room is very bad. and the bathroom was lacking water all the time.disgusting. and the receptionist very bad.
Buffet and location
Rooms were old , toilet not working , air-conditioning not good and effective and very old
Loved the location very much especially if you are willing to go out and enjoy the night life. The staff are mostly friendly.
The reception is beautiful but the rooms are very old and the rooms, beds and bedding smelt moldy and was very uncomfortable.
Awesome pool/beach areas, very well cared, clean and full of places to seat under the sun or nice umbrellas. Nice gardens. The room was spacious and very clean, the bathroon was nice but needs a little maintenance as the building is old. Location is very good and a ride to downtown will cost you around 18 dollars by cab. Downtown has very nice traditional restaurants. Also try a very nice mexican restaurant 5 min. walk from Krystal, behing the ALoft hotel, the name is Casa Tequila, they offer nice food and perfect margaritas.
Drinks are a disappointment, all prepared with flavored syrups, what made them very sweet and artificial. Few servers (2) at the pool/beach area were not nice and very slow when present. Don't try to request anything different, like no sugar/extra ice or they'll pretend they didn't understand. Food was fair. A/C in the room was a bit noisy. No ice machine on the floor. Do not stop to talk to anyone offering you maps or other services in the lobby area, they will destroy your vacation time trying to sell you time share.
The hotel is in the best place in Cancun! has its own beach and 2 minutes walk from all the entertainment. The hotel is beautiful with nice rooms and great beach
They allowed people to call me at 8aM in the morning to sell me packages and wake me up! This is rude!
The location is very good for nightlife, the beach is excellent too.
Hotel facilities are quite old and very overpriced in my view.
The location was very nice. The beach and pool was great.
The fact of not having chairs on the deck and called twice. As well as the there not being any hot water in the shower at all. It is hard to shower with cold water with a child.
close to the nightlife area, overall clean, good breakfast service
small swimming pool, slow beach service, no wifi
Excellent location. How close it is to all the night life. Nice clean hotel. No problems with room. Book a city view room and ended up with seaside view.
Toilet didnt want to flush, staff not friendly or welcoming.
Beach was gorgeous.
I booked 2 rooms, one for my granddaughter and her fiance, the Romantic Room, and a Club room for my grandson and myself. They were overbooked so they gave us the Presidential Room (which had just had tremendous leaks because of rain so they had towels all over the floor). They brought in 2 beds for the living room for my grandson and me. They charged $459 for that for one night.
