Overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Nichupte Lagoon, only steps from the beach, the Krystal Grand Punta Cancún has a bi-level outdoor pool, private white sandy beach and full-service spa.
Score from 412 reviews Very good
On a 14-mile stretch of pristine beachfront in Cancun’s hotel zone, the NYX Hotel Cancun has an infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Some of its rooms have views of the sea or Nichupté Lagoon....

Score from 424 reviews Wonderful
The positives were how good the beach was there. The amenities around the pool were great and we spent pretty all our time there.
The photos of the room are definitely very deceiving. They weren't dirty but seemed quite old with cracked tiles and a lot of imperfections. The bathroom was the worst. The couch in the room was gross we wouldn't even go near it. The location is really good because the beach you get but you hear thumping from the music all night. Our room looked into the main street with all the clubs lined up it was pretty annoying when trying to relax and sleep at night. Almost every time we asked the staff a question they gave very poor advice and seemed quite rude, especially the lady we checked in with because she charged us an extra couple of hundred dollars for no reason. However I'm in the mix of getting it refunded now. I think it was just the language barrier though. Some speak great english and others don't so I can't really complain about that, it's not their fault.
The location of krystal was perfect, we had a ocean view room, can't complain :) the room was nice and clean.
Nothing was explained to us properl, where to get beach towels or where the restaurant is or even check out time, we had to ask the cleaning lady.
The location is great
The reception service was disappointing. They weren't able to understand that due to logistics we had made two separate reservations for continuous nights.
Location was the only good point, everything else was a let down.
The standard of cleanliness was poor from the pool to the bars. Every morning they were dirty with mess left over from the day before. Bar didn't have enough staff day or night. I complained to the management but nothing was done about it. The restaurant standard of food was basic and there was not enough room at breakfast with only one room open./
The food at any of the on-site restaurants was horrible! Their partner Mexican restaurant 2 doors down the street was good, though.
The location is amazing, the beach and sea are perfecto!! The place is very clean and comfortable! Room service has very tasty although not much choice.
The romantic room, which we had, was a long way from the vip lounge, air conditioning in the lobby and other areas wasn't very good, the staff that sell tours and the "vip experience" with a 90 minute presentation need to relax, wasn't interested and one member of staff turned on us, was quite pathetic!!
hotel is bright and clean. Location is excellent and people was very kind. Pool, Sea, service was good.
I requested for ocean view and two bed for two people but when I arrived at hotel staff never comform and no information about hotel. At room safety box dosen't work.
Location couldn't be better, 2 minute walk to the main nightlife area and gorgeous beach right infront of the hotel. Pool area was spotless and plenty of sunbeds available, likewise with the beach area, sunbeds reserved for Krystal guests. Room was basic enough but spotless and air con worked perfectly, cleaned every day, beautiful ocean view from the balcony.Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends
Reception staff on check in were rude and unhelpful.
The location was very good, right next to the main area of Cancun. Excellent transport links and easy to get places from. The staff were so nice and friendly, especially the staff at the pool bar and restaurant. We went just for a room without all inclusive, I'm glad we did this because we had the freedom to do what we pleased.
The hotel is right next to all the clubs and a beach club therefore it is very noisy most nights. The food from the pool restaurant was good, we didn't eat a lot in the hotel but one night we ate in the restaurant. The spaghetti bolognese was honestly one of the worst I've ever had, would have been very disappointed if I had paid the all inclusive price for this.
Good Location Value for Money
Walking in the Sun-rise. Enjoy the conference at convention center. Happy time with friends all-over-the world, east and west.
Mexican food is a bit different to us.
Location was good, near the clubs and restaurants.
Rooms where a little outdated.
The beach was lovely.
One 18-yr old girl died, yes died, by falling off the balcony of her room while I stayed at this hotel. Very sad situation and ruined the atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel could have prevented this easily by allowing windows to open slightly. On a different note, the hotel was overwhelmed with 16-21 year old 'kids'. All of whom drank to excess I had cockroaches in my room each night. Meals were just simply 'ok' and not exceptional. Surrounding area was full clubs, of people propositioning you for women, drugs, and more. The clubs were so loud they could be heard from your room from 11pm-3am each night. I travel for a living and this was far below my expectations. Also, while there on vacation the hotel staff will try to talk you into time share opportunities. So be careful for that as well.
With a hotel that is on the beach even an early jog in the sand is possible. It was close to the restaurant and shop district if you are without transport. Noon checkout which was helpful.
No free WiFi in the room, yes in common areas.
Staff was pleasant but front desk managers and staff seemed to be on the phone constantly trying to trouble shoot the patrons complaints and problems w facility etc. Nice staff.
Upon check in they did not have the correct rooms available. Due to poor condition of rooms; broken ac, water break into bathroom and hallway, mold on ceilings, mildew smell which bothered our asthma and allergies. We were moved 3 times in the less than 12 hours we stayed at the hotel. We checked out ASAP the next morning. So disappointing as it looked so wonderful and different online. Manager and staff were decent to us and they were clearly not responsible for the run down condition of the hotel rooms.
Loved our stay at Krystal Cancun. Rooms were quite noisey. Could hear everything in the rooms around us and the halls in the mornings. Pool area and beach were beautiful and relaxing.
Most staff were lovely and helpful but unfortunately some food staff were not friendly and being an all inclusive hotel they made you feel like a pain for ordering food/drinks and were rude at times. But in saying that it was not all staff and most staff were lovely and helpful and friendly.
to many locals not enough tourist
In need of internal renovations and upgrades to amenities.
I liked everything it was so much fun.
That my reservation was a mess I didn't know how I spend more that I was so pose to. Now I know it will be better nex time
Location, pretty beach, sushi bar.
The rooms were a bit sterile, the staff at the front desk looked like they hated their job. we were first put in a room on the far right side which is directly next door to Mandala beach club. our walls were vibrating the music and bass was that loud. we thankfully could get a room change. We also booked all inclusive but we still had to pay for anything in the mini bar but water. the restaurants available were ok but nothing compared to some of the other resorts I've stayed at.
The location The beach and pool area The food
The room was not very clean The shower's drain was clogged with someone else's hairs There were small spiders (about 2mm long) in the closet The floors in the entire hotel are extremely dangerous: they are like polished marble and since its a hotel in the beach which is open in many areas, it's common to have leaks or rain coming in, so many people we saw slipped and hit very hard (staff told us it was about 2-3people daily). They need to treat the floor to make it porous - otherwise they might face a severe acc
Location The view
The air condition was too noise.
Expensive hotel, there were works (drilling and similar) in the TWO surrounding rooms the whole day, hotel staff didn't do anything to stop the noise or to change our room.
The first thing that happened was they tried to change us to another hotel, we denied, so they gave us a room with view to hooters... And with cucarachas (bugs) in the bathroom. The front desk service couldn't be slower... I would never go back to it. Don't recomend it at all
