Difficult to give a detailed review as we arrived at the start of Ramadan which lasted a month
Most of the stalls and restaurants were closed as were the beach activities
Minimarket and duty free shops open
Daddy's cafe on coral beach was by far the best place for Western food and cocktails
The hotels mainly offered limited choices but mainly catered or Chinese and malays
Not too many people about apart from groups of indians and Chinese, a bit noisy at times so avoid.
Overall beaches were pretty deserted.
A few plastic bottles and rubbish washed up during the day but beaches were swept up each day
Cheap and easy to get around by taxi or motorbike
No public transport

Like the nature, serenity, wildlife, interior and architectural design. The buffet was good but the Chinese restaurant had been overrated. The Chinese cuisine was average. There wasn't any delicate fresh seafood which would be great to have on such a beautiful private island. In addition, you can't swim due to jelly fish. However, this wasn't a big issue as there was a pool right by the beach

An island with beautiful beaches which still maintains its nature. Not too commercialized and limited no of cars on the island reduces the pollution, giving you clean, fresh air.
Since the island is declared as free duty zone, overnight visitors have the option to shop for duty free items especially imported chocolate at a cheaper price than the mainland.
The island is also famous for dried anchovies (ikan bilis mata biru) which is most sought by Malaysians

Horrible, they charged me for an extra bed, which was the sofa in the room, they put cover sheet and pillow, around 65% of my reservation.
A bad waste water smell was always in the area in the garden villas, I feel like living in sewage factory, not in a hotel.
The guesthouse is located in an old building in fishing village. There are many good food options all close and very friendly people all around. You will need bike to get to beaches on other side of island. The place is clean, quiet(some barking dogs) and really funky. We enjoyed our time there and would happily stay again.
The property saved us from cancelling our trip to Pangkor when the original hotel cancelled our booking due to water supply problem and AVI hotel was not affected.
The staff that we met at the Reception were all great especially those that we could remember Ms Kuga, Mr. Wong & Ms Rina.
Located in a very snug corner of Pangkor Island. we like that it was not completely inundated with tourists. Room was functional, basic and clean, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was good too. Owners of the property are helpful, kind and hospitable.
The best hotel in Teluk Nipah.well recommend it! The staff is helpful, friendly and polite.👍👍👍👍👍 The bonus 👉every evening time hotel lobby can see lots of hornbill, nice scenery around. 🐒 Monkey ,hidden beach. will booking for the next stay !
Excellent option to stay in Pangkor. beautiful location and we had a great time in this hotel. the owner is a genuine person and he was super supportive, so kind and helpful in planning our trip. We will visit again. Highly recommended.
very nice touch to the hotel, new and clean, free water and free to use kitchen utensils. we met the owner the last day and he was very nice. Scooter rental right next to it. the best beach on the island was about 10 mins walking
I like the location.just nearby with the beach. I like the swimming.pool.its enough big for adult and children. The owner us friendly and helpfull. Easy access to go round the island by motorbike rental. Valuable for money
Private island which allowed you to have enjoyable time with your partner. We stayed at hill villa and managed to met hornbill just in very short distance just front of our villa
Lovely staff who sorted out taxi and renting scooter for us. Hotel contained water filter to refill bottles. was comfortable, clean, and good value for money on the island.
Good location , many Chinese restaurants within walking distamce, a duty free shop and a mini.market below the hotel cum apartment. 15 mins drive to Pangkor town.
Great location close to the beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants. This is a clean well-run hotel. It is probably the best place to stay on Pangkor.
The hotel is located in a quiet area. A view of surrounding very beautiful and comfortable. Suitable for people who want peace of mind. This is my 2nd stay here
