Not in the centre of town as right beside the Olympic Village , but great for us as we had a car. We found the appartment clean, spacious and great value. We had a living room with dining area separated with a curtain from the bedroom which had a the en-suite shower room and a great area for bags etc. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet and warm. Staff were great and the girl on Check in gave us great advice to get into town. We walked into town and it is a good walk down hill, but you have to come back up, but weather was ok so we didn't mind. We also had Wi-fi logon problems, but easily sorted and no further problems. There is a shop at reception, large lounge area and free coffee machine. Although you do get a kettle in the room. Lots of information about the area too. Breakfast was plentiful and great choice. This was not really a busy time and the dining area was quite empty , but they did not scrimp on the amount of food. We would stay again.
Staying only one night.
wifii a little bit difficult
There was no curtain at one window so light woke up us very early in the morning. Breakfast room very essential and separeted from the room so you must go outside to have breakfast.
*Location *Late check-out option
*WiFi connection *Cleanliness standard well below my expectation in relation to the cost value.
We selected this site because of it's history. We were satisfied with everything about it. No, it is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Know that it was designed for lodging of athletes. The breakfast was equal to that we experiences at our other lodging sites throughout Norway--good variety. Was located well for the Olympic experience.
We will strongly recommend this place to people we know. We will choose this hotel next time we visit Lillehammer. Next time we will like to rent an apartment so we easily can cook and do our own food. With small children this is recommended instead of going out on different restaurants.
Breakfast was excellent-great choice. Room "upgrade" was to a small suite with sofa bed, dining table etc.with kettle and fridge. Bedding was very clean Coffee etc available in communal lounge. For a 1 night stay an excellent good value choice but dont expect 5*
rooms could do with a bit of an update as everything feels a bit utilitarian(I'm guessing it was used as part of the athletes village during the Olympics) Towels a bit worn and pillows slighlty lumpy. Centre is a short drive away,no where to eat nearby.
Very good breakfast, friendly staff, nice green and quite area, clean room
What was advertised as a family room for two adults and two kids turned out to be a cottage for at least 6 persons with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cottage was self-service, e.g. they didn't even have soap in bathrooms. All the kitchen equipment was very old, coffeemaker didn't want to boil water, and there was no kettle whatsoever. The rooms were hardly ever renovated since 1994 Olympic Games. All-in-all, very bad value for money for a family of four who were looking for one night at a hotel.
Spacious room. Convenient location. Excellent breakfast. Friendly owner.
Small tv screen.
Late check-out. Free upgrade. Big nice room.
Big room and very quiet. Good location not far from the center of Lillehammer. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice.
I don't know if the spots on the bed linen were dirt or just spots you can't remove. I would have liked that it was all white...
Lovely rustic feel in the middle of the Olympic park. Not fancy, but extremely warm and comfortable...typically Norwegian
So so room
