Nice hotel in a good location. Clean secure and quiet. The room is great. Comfortable queen size bed. Great AC, internet. Nice hot shower. The hotel has a swimming pool and a rooftop deck. The staff is friendly and helpful. They recommended a nice restaurant to eat. They arranged our swimming with the whale sharks with diving Nemo. All in all a great stay.

It was the owner who made my trip to Oslob memorable.
It was Ms Zeny. She’s like a mother to all of us.
She made everything was easy from the whale shark tour to getting a bike for rent to where we could eat and going to ferry to Panglao or bus going to Moalboal.
She made sure that we would be the first batch to see the whale shark. And it was.
The amount of the tour was just 600 and it was all worth it.
Cause she will make sure that you will wake up at 3AM in the morning to be the first on the line for the Whale Shark Tour.
The location was just like less than a minute to be on the registration area of Whale Shark Tour. So you just have to get your seats first. Then you can ask her staff if you could back to brush your teeth. Do number two. Or you forgot something.
Her staff would reserve the seat for you.
It’s like really living in an island where you go back to simple life.
But INTERNET was fast.
Don’t expect for something colorful like any other hostels are offering where you can post on your socials.
I think the place is like home away from home in an island style.
And also. The value for money is something. The hostel is very cheap specially for those people who are doing backpacking and saving money.
I would highly recommend this place as I am not really a hostel guy. I am more of a luxury hotels. But it was the convenience and hospitality of the owner that made me loved this hostel.

Having at least 2 days in Oslob can be recommended but 1 day is good as well if you plan it properly. The timings for Whale shark watching are very early and should be done early as well to enjoy the best views and cleaner water. Oslob is a lovely island, with plenty of nature and interesting views. La Terrasse is a restaurant almost in front of Whale shark watching, and definitely worth checking. Excellent menu! To get around, best way is trying tricycles, as they have best prices. It’s also worth visiting the city, where the cuartel is located. I enjoyed the Whale Shark experience.
I enjoyed the Whale Shark experience. However many tourists don't pay attention and give respect to the Whale Sharks, getting to close, kicking them because they don't pay attention. The boatmen and guides are awesome. Get there early!!!!!

Very nice location you can do the whale sharks one day and the second day Tumalog falls and sumilon island. It’s a great stop off for 2/3 days. Bus ride down from Cebu is ok about 300 each way and takes about 5 hours buses run every 20-30 minsAmyAustralia

The ceres line bus from Bato dropped us off outside the front door.
