Lots of fun things to do in Panglao Island. The land tour - which includes the tarsier sanctuary, river boat lunch, butterfly farm and chocolate hills - is great. You have to pick the right beach - Alona is too crowded, narrow and not well maintained. I recommend Dumaluan beach - less crowded and cleaner. Lots of restaurants too around the island, and for less than 5 euros, can get around on tricycles quite easily A good vacation spot for families.Michaela CabreraFrance - Scored 4.04.0

Too many annoying sales people at Alona beach. Nice beach, but pretty annoying one cannot even sit and eat without people trying to sell stuff. Parents are even sending their kids to play guitars when your sitting and eating. Sorry to say, but there must be much better locations in Pangloa then Alona beach

Relaxing place for a vacation with lots of restaurants to choose and cafe shops with instagrammable ambiance. Panglao is a small island easy to navigate. We did not join any tours but utilized the local tub-tuks that took us around. It felt safe,, welcoming, people are very friendly. The beaches are so beautiful.

Panglao has everything to offer - ease of access just 15 minutes from airport and you are on Alona beach. You have several beaches to choose from if quiet is what you need and be away from the action of Alona. There are also so many nature/adventure / cultural and historical tours to choose from that is a day tour away. Tricycles and private cars/vans are readily available. Lots of great food choices as well. Go for freshly grilled seafood!!Bautista

Everything was very clean, including swimming pool. Our room was spacious and there are lines outside to dry up your clothes. Aircon and wifi work perfectly. It's 10min away from Alona beach by trycicle, so quite at night, the bed was also comfortable. There is a convenience store just outside and some restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended to rent a car or bike from them, we got a car and visit whole Bohol by ourselves.
