Got awaken by a delivery van with engine running just outside of our bedroom at 5:45 one morning, our fault, we left the window opened instead of using the air con...
We booked a double bed and ended up with 2 single that were impossible to join together because of the large bed frame.
The thing is, there is not exactly very much to do for a week in town , barr renting a bicycle or taking the cruise to see the canal... you best bet to keep entertained is to take the train to see Malbrok Castle and other historical sites out of Elblag.
there are a few good hotels in Elblag and Pod Lwen is one of them. their bedrooms are very well decorated in contemporary yet cosy style, with comfortable beds, and a special mention to the bathroom that was well serviced with nice toiletry and perfectly maintained. we havent tried the restaurant but the buffet breakfast was very good, although very crowded one of the mornings so a bit of a rush to get the same choice as usual... staff were very nice and polite. the tourist office is just one street behind the hotel and have a good contact with tourists of many nationalities.
for the size of the town , there are plenty of nice restaurants around the quarter where most of the hotels are, you can also spend some great outdoors time in the forest and park north east of town at the end of tramway line.
