We were born in Madeira island, we like to travel and meet people, and it is a great pleasure to help travellers to discover our island.

Property info

Atlantic View is a recently renovated traditional rural house that is recommended for hikers, sports enthusiasts and those who want to get away from urban centres. The house has a floor area of approximately 90 square metres and includes a bedroom with a double bed (1.60 metres wide) and an en-suite bathroom, a bedroom on the upper floor with three single beds, a shared bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. There is a covered space at the front of the house with a seating area, a dining table and a fabulous view of the ocean, ideal for relaxing in the late afternoon and enjoying the fabulous sunsets with their intense autumn colours. The house is equipped with a fridge, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay. A car is recommended for this location. Free car park is available in the property. We ask that all guests keep food well-packed, so as to limit attracting insects given the island climate. Cleaning is done before guests check in and there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. Additional cleaning may be requested.

The house is in a rural area at 335 m from sea level and at 6 km from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafes. At about 1400 m there is a supermarket and at 800 m there is a small restaurant and cafe. Ponta do Sol is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira. A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers. Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities. The property has access to the main roads.
