Score from 450 reviews Good
Comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, nice breakfast, very clean hotel.
Location, breakfast, price
rooms too warm even without any heating - and it was quite cold in Porto
Good bed..good breakfast...near Capa Negra 2, a good restaurant... 10 minutes away from Casa da Musica metro station
If you don´t like to walk ,maybe you can choose a closer hotel near Ribeira or downtown..
The Breakfast and room were excellent!
The internet decoupled from time to time
Nice (family) room, good breakfast, friendly staff, well located with good restaurants in the neighborhood. Clean room.
Relative high parking price (€9 p.d.) High traffic in front of hotel. (Allthough not noisy at the room)
very limited parking
Staff was fantastic - really friendly and helpful, breakfast was always fresh and refilled frequently, there are a couple of great restaurants just across the street - all in all very good experience.
Well, the hotel is located on the way to a major hospital, so there are plenty of ambulances passing by at any time of the day and night. We were on the sixth floor and asked for a quiet room, but we could still hear the sirens very clearly. So I wouldn't recommend it to light sleepers. Also, the mattress is quite hard, but this is really a matter of personal preference. One thing we were really missing was coffee making facilities in the room.
Breakfast, location, friendliness of staff, wifi speed (despite the need for repeated relogging)
Smell of cigarette in common areas, small parking area (and expensive compared to other parking options in the area). Free parking in a hotel nowadays is as mandatory as free wifi.
Staff was very attentive, breakfast was good, nice gin&tonic at the bar, nice stay overall.
Room temperature was a bit unpleasant (too hot, wouldn't turn down)
overall a good hotel
elevators capacity way to little, unacceptable long waiting
Everything other than bed.
I love the hotel my next trup to Porto I know where I would stay. The only think I have to mention is the bed when I made a booking it was an offer double or twin even thou I requested double bed I still got it twin.
I couldn't shift the booking date, after a mistake, asked politely to shift date, they didn't and I had to plan my holiday around that date or lose money. Porto had police sirens outside hotel all night. it must not be a safe city, i opted to eat opposite hotel was scared to venture further due to possible crime.
Friendly staff, spacious room for opening my luggage
a little walk is needed to go city center
vale for money, but i don´t think this is a good hotel.
there are two options with same price, one is include breakfast, one is not, i may made mistake to choose not include room, and reception said the price is different, you can check easily from internet, don´t lie, you can say other reasons.pay extra 10 euro for breakfast, not expensive, but made me very uncomfortable.
The locations is good, breakfast is expected, wifi is good, public transport is easy and accesible.
We liked the accessibity, friendly & helpful staff. The breakfast selection was good and also good value
Would have liked drink facilities in the room.
The location,and the service offered!
The staff in the hotel were so helpful, particularly the girl who we met every morning at breakfast, she was cheerful and so helpful to everyone, she pointed out loads of things to do and see in the area. The bar staff also were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. Bike hire is available at the hotel too which is a bonus. Staff were also able to recommend areas near Porto to visit, would absolutely return to the hotel again, cannot recommend it highly enough.
Very good price/qualtiy ratio. WIFI available in the room with very good coverage. Close to center 10 min taxi and airport 20 min taxi.
The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and was clean and quiet. Breakfast was copious and tasty with fresh fruits. The walk to the centre of town was about 20 minutes, but that didn't bother us.
- Excellent breakfast; great variety - Clean, quiet (good isolated) rooms - Spacious room - Very friendly, helpful staff - Very convenient taxi-service - Relatively good location
- Very small safe; i.e. laptop computer cannot fit in at all..
there was not a cattle or coffee machine in the room.
The friendliness of the staff, the comfortable rooms. Great value for money!
The only thing that was missing was my cup of tea before bed! Coffee/tea making facilities in the room would be nice!
Great and cheap breakfast! Helpful staff,
Not very good cleaning service and noise from the ventilation system.
