good location and easy to get to. the tram takes you almost to the door. quiet safe area. friendly staff, good breakfast and a comfortable bed
There was nothing to dislike
- friendly staff at reception desk - the pastei de Belém at breakfast - the calmness within the hotel
- a refreshment of the room and bathroom is however recommended
Location is awesome. Train, tram, bus available to downtown. Train to beaches. Restaurants, food shops around the corner. Touristic attractions a few steps away. Better than the city! Quiet and no hills to climb. Reception was extremely helpful. We were a bit hesitating as room size was shown as 12-14 m2 on booking.com and few people complained on that. In our case both rooms had enough room, no worries that you can not open your luggage like in Amsterdam, etc. This hotel was simply perfect for our needs.
Wifi was sometimes poor in certain areas of the room. This could be improved. Close to door it was always OK, so no bad taste. It is hard to complain after such a great experience!
The location just across from the Jeronimos monastery was super-convenient for visiting Belem. The town is quiet once the museums close, so it's very restful. The breakfast selections are especially generous - you can get smoked salmon and pasteis de Belem.
Construction activity lasted from 8:30 in the morning to 7pm. I assume this will end soon.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.
No pool or gym.
Clean, contemporary. Friendly, helpful staff.
Air conditioning was not strong enough to keep the room cool
Great location for visit Belem. .The stuff were very nice We were able to park our car right in front the hotel for free.
The staff, the breakfast, the location
Really bad wifi in the room
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good selection at breakfast, small but well payed out and clean rooms.
Not really in the hotels control but the location came with a lot of noise from a combination of road works and building works very near the hotel, meaning there was drilling and banging noises throughout the day (8 am till 6.30pm). Whilst your not really in the room during the day, if your looking for a lie in or rest during the afternoon.......no chance!!
Great breakfast, most staff friendly and helpful, quiet area.easy transport to city center(15-20 minute tram ride). On the doorstep of a bakery that makes fantastic portugese tarts*.Plenty of restaurants nearby, ask the staff for recomendations and bookings.
No hooks in bathroom for towels/robes
The positive welcome at reception, the wonderful breakfast (including custard tarts :) ) and the friendly service in the bar
The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good, too
the facility should be renovated to deserve the name of design hotel
Well situated in Belem
Friendly helpful staff.
Breakfast excellent, plus Pasteis de Belem for free was amazing! Free fruit in the lobby made a great snack. Very clean. Location is great for a calm trip, it is 20 min from the city centre by tram/bus and really close to other sites.
We went on a bank holiday in Spain and prices were pretty high... facilities are nice but nothing too special so money for value in the end wasn´t so great. Small details such as our window that was very difficult to close and open and with window open birds would literally wake you up (they must nest right on top of the room...).
The staff was wonderful and the hotel incredibly convenient to all the sights in Belem and easy to get Lisbon.
We were nervous there was no parking but found a space right out front.
Brilliant location in historic Belem. Transport links with the rest of Lisbon excellent...Tram 15 just a few minutes walk and goes right into the centre of Lisbon. The room was lovely and had air con and heating. Everything was so clean and stylish. Breakfasts great and all the staff are so pleasant. The reception staff are multi lingual, very well informed and helpful. This was our third visit and we will return.
Nothing at all to dislike.
location as it is close to a few of the important tourist ( a must) attractions
arrangements with taxis. I was cheated badly as I feel there seems to be some understanding between taxis and hotel staff. To avoid this, I suggest just 5 mins walk take the taxi from the taxi stand.
very friendly staff
in our room at the end of the corridor, we couldn't catch the wifi (signal too weak)
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value for the money. Good breakfast. Cool neighborhood. Street parking was very convenient.
It was a little difficult to find, and a bit far from downtown. On the other hand, it was a great neighborhood and a better value. We took the bus and tram with no problems. Wi-fi was not great unless we went to the lobby.
The Pastel de Belem for breakfast is a treat, plus the buffet is pretty good. The lobby is roomy and I liked the iron sculptures.Staff is quite helpful ( i had to find hairdresser nearby...)
No view, towards the back, no curtains, very plain room. The bath tub is very high, and I m in my forties ,so I woudl be carefully if i was any older...maybe other bathrooms are a bit better.
The mouquette on the floor everywhere. Room dimension and facilities
great location, reception, breakfast and room. I definitelly recommend this hotel for all who want to stay in Belem and are searching for better quality and service
wifi didn't always work and ham for breakfast was not good anymore
