Everything, really. The place is an old but renovated family house, super comfortable and clean. The breakfast is simple but delicious, with fresh fruit, juice, bread and croissants. The owners are super nice and made us feel right at home. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, with hammocks, fruit trees, grass and sun loungers. You can walk around the property, where you can see sheep. It's 5min away by car of Souselas and 15min away from Bairrada and Coimbra. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious with a clean and neat bathroom. I highly recommend this place and want to return for sure.

The accommodation was charming very clean, comfortable and well presented. There was a terrific dining room where we prepared a lite meal for ourselves. (I had read other reviews that suggested there were no nearby restaurants). The complimentary breakfast was great. There was also a very extensive garden within the grounds which would have been a good place to relax if you had time. Off street private parking was a bonus, once you managed to find the place.

We chose Quinta do Calvário because it was close the motorway and we didn’t want to drive into a city for just one night. When we arrived it was so lovely, the gardens, the room, and the pool are so beautiful. It’s an old, sympathetically restored building with some well chosen antique furniture and modern clean bathrooms and a very comfortable bed, and air con. Breakfast was simple, but lovely. Caesar couldn’t have been more helpful, on arrival and at breakfast. Highly recommended.

O lugar é muito bonito e organizado. Super tranquilo e tudo estava muito limpo. Ótimo para uma pausa nos dias corridos e não fica muito longe de Coimbra. As camas eram muito confortáveis e o chuveiro tinha ótima pressão.
