A grade of 10 is too low for this hotel. The communication with the hotel before the arrival was very good. The atmosphere is great and the staff are super friendly and making an effort to help. The modern design that is kept very clean, and the breakfast.. this is phenomenal! . I loved every bit of our stay and I wish I could stay more in this hotel

The city is nice, the people are nice. But mainly in the center. We found it to be less attractive than we expected. Pretty much all tourist attractions are grouped in the center.
There is a major lack of information regarding public transportation in the city and surroundings. Stops don’t have any posted names, hard to guess where are the stops except for the very central ones. Hard to find convenience stores.
People are willing to help but they are offering conflicting information.
In conclusion, the city/mayor gives the impression that they do not want/like tourists.
Restaurants we ate at were all fine. We had traditional local food, Italian, international at different places.
Hard to get around without own car, particularly for longer distances.
Very outdated and confusing/misleading information online.

I grew up here and haven't visited for two years and the general feeling I got was that it was a bit unkept. New cafes have opened with good coffee on offer. The city though feels clogged with cars and if I didn't have family to come to, I would not visit the it at all.

You can visit it for one or two days.
You can visit it for one or two days. There are some museums, yet they are under renovation and closed. The citadel is worth a visit, and you will find a doll museum inside of it. With more than 400 dolls. There is an excellent international guitar festival in August, worth-attending. So you can plan your visit accordingly. There are a couple of beautiful cathedrals, too.

Lovely city in Romania with a lot to see and to do. From an old Citadel, to big Universities (Medical) to a great Park Area with Zoo (in the Forest up on the hill :) ), to pools for the summer time, promenade along the Mures river, Great architecture, lots of places to eat, dine, just have a coffee, malls etc.
Don't forget about museums also and flea market in weekends :)

The city, in the evening, at 6 pm was quite deserted and sad. I couldn't find a proper restaurant in the center which is quite unacceptable. Nice buildings. I fully recommend the Zoo and the park for short/long walks in nature. The park in front of the Zoo includes a great play area for the children. There are bars and terraces where you can eat or simply have a snack. The Zoo was a pleasant surprise. It is very clean and the animals are well cared for, although it is not very big. There is a lot of shadow and benches to sit on
Awesome hotel in a beautiful old building. Very nicely decorated rooms, very clean and cozy. Comfortable bed and pillows. Soundproofed windows are excelent, rooms are quiet. Amazing stuff. Helenn from the reception is so kind and attentive. Nothing was to much for her. Perfect location. Good value for money. The attached restaurant named Orobianco is also a plus.
We spent only one night at the Plaza, however the location was great and very convenient for being in the center of the city. The reception called us a taxi and they were very courteous. We got 2 rooms at the 5th floor and one of them had a great view of the street. Beautiful!
Pensiunea David was perfect for our 1 night stay in Targu Mures. The place is a 15 min walk to city center. The hosts are lovely people, we had a great time there. The rooms are super clean and decent size. We enjoyed the breakfast that was fresh and delicious.
Very modern hotel, everything is automated (check-in, check-out, keys, lights), beautiful rooms, very clean. Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and accomodating. Best hotel I ever stayed in, both Romania and abroad. Hospitality at its best!
- the room was clean
- comfy beds
- good location (city center)
- breakfast was ok
- parking lots in front of the hotel (however, they are limited); good thing is that there is a public parking (you have to pay per hour/day) near the hotel
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served as a help-yourself breakfast, common in European hotels but usually for a much higher price. In fact the whole of the accommodation was very cheap for what it offered.
The hotel was rather small but the room was very large and very well equipped. The beds were perfectly comfy. The hosts were very nice and I thank them for the attentiveness, care for all details and a wonderful breakfast.
An excellent hotel located around 30 minutes by walking from Targu Mures city center. We received a spacious apartment with very big terrace and nice city panorama. Big free parking near hotel, nice staff, good breakfast.
Very friendly staff, everyone was so nice and friendly, from the reception staff to the hotel manager.
Great view over the city center, delicious breakfast and comfortable room.
Overall a great experience
The hotel was inside the center of the city, perfect location, also the breakfast was exceptional good, we also liked to relax in the sauna, jakuzzi and the swimming pool.
