We had a 4 hours walk to Sava Promenade [excellent developed area}, Sava river front, Kalemegdan site where one can see Danube and Sava rivers join together, it was wonderful. Also last was full of areas for kids and elders. And last but not least we have refreshed ourselves with a nice Italian gelato during our city walk.

Yes, you can stop here and explore the city.
Yes, you can stop here and explore the city. Personally I found other countries and cities more interesting than Serbia and Belgrade, but if you are driving through, you can spent a night or two here. Thats good. I wouldnt recommend it as a final (or only) destination of a trip.

Belgrade is vibrant and interesting with charming friendly people. It has two big rivers, the Danube and Sava, and many restaurants, coffee bars, and clubs on river banks. Food is great, there are many restaurants for different tastes, Serbian, but also Italian, Asian, fish restaurants, etc. One of the few places I always want to come back to.

My stay in Belgrade was truly amazing, filled with vibrant energy and rich cultural experiences. Exploring the historic streets of Belgrade, I was captivated by its blend of ancient architecture and modern charm. From the bustling markets to the serene banks of the Danube River, every corner offered something new to discover. The city's lively nightlife scene and delicious cuisine left a lasting impression, while the warmth and hospitality of the locals made you feel right at home. My time in Belgrade was a perfect blend of excitement, relaxation, and unforgettable memories.
The apartment is in a very central but quiet location. At a short distance you find supermarkets, nice restaurants, bars, the university, tourist attractions, the main shopping street and a stop for many bus lines. The apartment itself is very cozy and has everything you need for your stay. And Jovanna and her parents were very helpful and nice. I stay there for 2 weeks while visiting a Serbian course in Belgrade and visiting the city and was always nice to come to apartment which felt like home during my stay. :)
It is hard to describe all positives of this hotel.
Long story short - it is the BEST what I have seen so far.
I stayed there for 5 days.
The atmosphere of hospitality maintained by the hotel personnel makes you feel like at home.
It smells very fresh and odorous all around.
Although the hotel is located in the city center, it is in very environmentally friendly zone, right on the bring of botanic garden.
Beds and all furniture stuff are very comfortable.
Will definitely visit this place if come back to Serbia.
Attitude of hotel personnel is impeccable. Nothing it too much to ask for. Always smiling, very attentive to guests - the ladies from Lounge represent Serbian hospitality at it's best! Location of the hotel, the lounge view, top class facilities - these create a very unique experience. Special praise goes to Metropolitan restaurant, which converts into a true gourmet place in the evening.
Amazing, when you really feel as a long waited and cherished guest, while actually being on a trip in a foreign country.
The hotel is in an excellent location! Although it is right across the street from a busy square, the sound proofing in our room was very effective. Te room was comfortable and attractive. Everyone working at the reception desk was friendly and helpful—very patient in answering all our questions about using the bus system and getting a taxi in a pinch. We had a traditional dinner at a recommended Serbian restaurant and were not disappointed. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Belgrade
Hotel is on convinet location for city exploring and in quiet part of town. Staff was very kind.
Room is spacious with high cealing so it was enough air in it without bad smells.
Linen and towels was very clean and bed comfortably enough.
Breakfast was excellent and if you like basic and tasty local food this is one of the best hotel breakfast that I had in Belgrade.
Very important is that hotel had its own parking space which is very valuable in parking problematic main city of Serbia.
Best possible location for a hotel in Belgrade. Walking distance to the old town, Kalemegdan, shopping areas, opera house, restaurants, Skadarlija ...
Breakfasts are substantial and a variety of foods is amazing. Eggs in all possible forms, delis, cheese plate, various yoghurts, sausages, müsli, nuts, grilled vegetables, a bowl of fruits, pies or national "pitas", breads, juices really anything you can wish for a rich breakfast. And did I mention a coffee machine with a numerous choices?
By far the best, cleanest and most memorable accommodation experience in Serbia. The hosts met us at the apartment, showed us the facilities and the map of Belgrad with some recommendations. They were incredibly nice and kind! Spoke English very well. Belgrade had power failires because of a storm during our stay and they did everything to keep us updated and even organised us some matches so we could light candles. Definately coming back if we are ever in Serbia.
One of the best hotel in Belgrade, Staff was very much courteous, and they go the extra mile to help you and serve you. We got a free upgrade to the suite room which was fantastic. Special thanks to manager Uros who has taken very good care of us while we stayed there. We had 2 days booking there and 2 days in Hilton, we loved it so much that we cancelled the Hilton and stayed 2 more days at Metropol. If you are traveling to Belgrade this is must book hotel.
Excellent hotel, excellent room with a wonderful bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff at the reception and in the breakfast restaurant. Top-quality breakfast, with a lot of choice of food and desserts and various natural juices. Probably the best in Belgrade. Such a nice outside terrace and a very cozy place for a coffee and a cake. Top marks for both the staff and the hotel. My warm recommendation.
The Marriot in Belgrade downtown straight over to the nationalmuseum is central and you can get by a walk to the most destinations you wanna see as a tourist. The street down is very busy but the hotel has a noise prevention so that indoor its really quite. You can have a nice sleep, even there are thick curtains so u can dark up the room, for me important. Personal is helpfully, all in all a standard in Serbia.
The hotel is well decorated, perfect facilities. It’s located right next to Sava River and the city center, with wonderful views and convenient transportation. The staffs are very nice, chatted with them and made friends. The kitchen also serves great food. We had 4 breakfasts and also one dinner there! The stay is really exceptional, would recommend to everyone coming to Belgrade.
We stay here every time we go to the airport or embassy in Belgrade. This hotel is the best value in Belgrade! The family suite is perfect for our family of 4. It's always sparkling clean and our kids (ages 3 and 1) have plenty of space to play in the room. The breakfast is nice. The staff is exceptionally kind and they always go above and beyond to make our stay perfect!
The location of the Hotel is directly in the city center and perfect to explore Belgrade.
The room was big and comfy and the WiFi was operating super reliable. The room had a very modern climatization which was super useful in the hot weather conditions of Serbian summer. We also liked the breakfast which offered an extensive variety of local specialities.
I am coming to Vivio for a second time and it's definitely one of the best apartments in Belgrade city center. Very fast Wi-Fi, sparkling clean, very big and comfortable beds, full of amenities and with perfect host. Top location, which was most important thing for me and apartment privicy. Highest recommendations!
The location of the hotel is good. Easy connectivity towards the Belgrade city center. The cleaning staff were really helpful, changing towels, providing shampoos and soaps daily. The people at reception were also good but i found one the lady, may in her thirties at the reception is very rude.
The best thing about this hotel is its location: right in the city center, close to the Kalemegdan, shopping center (Тржни центар Рајићева). It's easy to find a restaurant/cafe nearby, enjoy the old part of Belgrade.
The room itself is quite spacious.
The staff was what made the difference in my stay... they were super friendly, helpful, and kind. The room was quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood has authentic Serbian restaurants/pastry shops and it's easy to take the bus to the city center.
I stayed on two seperate occasions. The staff members were super friendly, helpful and approachable. Also the best part was the location of the hotel. Can't wait to get back to Belgrade and to Stella Di Notte infact.
Love <3
Clean rooms, staffs were very friendly and helpful.
Parking space available, breakfast and foods are great.
There’s one of the best hotel gym in Belgrade.
Great cost-benefit.
