Brilliant place. The historic buildings. Food wonderful, swimming in the Sava. Cycled down the Danube with ACE a Serbian company which was fantastic. The mesolithic villiage at Lepenski vir wonderful and the Iron gates gorge.
Infrastructure superb. Clean toilets, buses very frequent and trolley buses.

The architecture in the city and the friendliness of its citizens. There appears to be a lot of public transport. I just picked up a snack in a bakery that was good. If going by car I would find a hotel with parking and if necessary use public transport to get into the centre of the city.
Avoid rush periods and plan your sightseeing after most offices have closed in the centre of the city. Most shops are open late and also places to eat. There is even a f streets from the hotel where I stayedIrish Pub a couple o

Fabulous and very good value Opera.
Easy to walk around the centre but for trips slightly further afield buy bus/tram tickets at the office on the second floor of 6, Knez Mihailova.

Belgrade waterfront is perfectly designed and maintained,an oasis every big city should have.Otherwise,Belgrade with its hills and rivers has a lot of potential but beautifull -it is not.Charming though-it is.With traffic chaos, bad infrastructure, poor public transportation, dilapidated buildings but friendly, direct people,a lot of restaurant choices and vibrant nightlife. You will likely love it at the end.

Great value for money, especially when it comes to food and other consumables. Belgrade is something of a cradle of multiple civilisations and there are plenty of things to do both in the city or on day trips.

Overall Balkans are not for us as we had some previous experience with Montenegro.
We don't really like fat food, people smoke everywhere and even the capital Belgrade looks dirty and you can feel different smells, you know.
But still the architecture is really interesting and we loved our walks through the streets, bicycle culture seems to be great as well.
This hotel has the most professional and kind staff in Belgrade. I arrived at 6:30 in the morning, so instead of making me wait until 2 pm for check-in, the receptionist decided to give me a free upgrade and allow me to use the room immediately. On top of that, the receptionist said I could have breakfast that morning - on the house! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and so was the toilet/bathroom. The breakfast was delicious (mostly Serbian traditional food), and there was a rich variety of food to choose from.
Everything was great! First of all:
1. Host Goran is a really nice man. He helped with registration, which must be for any tourist who come to Serbia. Showed me a map where were the best places in Belgrade
2. Location was excellent. To the tourist centre Old Town is about 15-20 mins by walk or on any number of tram for 5-10 min, near flat are placed beautiful parks and architecture buildings
3. Flat's has everything for a good living: kitchen staff, washing machine, wifi , large TV with Android TV console
THE BEST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN !!!
Unreal hotel..I am speechless..Pool at the top from which you can see the whole of Belgrade..Restaurant on the 9th floor that is fascinating and offers a view of Belgrade... Comfortable beds, bed linen made of natural materials, blinds on the windows that provide darkness in the room, quiet room, delicious food. Everything was perfect. The staff is too kind. The indoor pool and gym with sauna and Turkish bath are unreal. And free parking. THRILLED
The place was completely reinnovated, most probably recently. Everything was exactly as expected, excellent taste in decoration, full set of equipment, felt like a 4/5 star hotel. The location is excellent too, very close to the center and to the Sava River promenade, there's also a very good bakery just a couple of blocks away for breakfast and a very good pub just under the rooms, but without any noise. It's going to be our preferred place when we'll be in Belgrade again.
One of the best hotel in Belgrade, Staff was very much courteous, and they go the extra mile to help you and serve you. We got a free upgrade to the suite room which was fantastic. Special thanks to manager Uros who has taken very good care of us while we stayed there. We had 2 days booking there and 2 days in Hilton, we loved it so much that we cancelled the Hilton and stayed 2 more days at Metropol. If you are traveling to Belgrade this is must book hotel.
I stayed in a single room, so I had all my comfort to myself. The room was spacious, clean, with a nice yard view, all new and modern furniture, etc. The location was absolutely the best you can get in the Belgrade city centre area directly inside the bohemian old town street of Skadarlija. The staff was also very polite. They didn't make an issue of arranging me for free earlier check-in and keeping my bag after check-out hours.
The staff is very professional, we had one problem on the first night when we arrived and the staff ( the receptionist Jovana, and her Manager) were superlative in solving our problem!
I really suggest to go there, the service is the very top! The position is perfect , near the main bus and train stations and quite close to the very city center!
As soon as I am back to Belgrade for sure I am going to choose this hotel again!
I stayed at the hotel for the second time, and this time due to its very close location to the stop of bus 72 connecting the airport and city center - it's only a 10 minute walk. This bus runs even at night, so it is very convenient for both late and early arrival/departure to Belgrade via the airport. In addition, all major sights of Belgrade are within walking distance.
İ loved this place, really. This is my second stay and i found it accidentaly while scrolling on booking. Staff is so kind, from the cleaning ladies to all the reception girls. Comfortable place, best location good price. My fave place in Belgrade to stay from now on. Special thanks for front desk ms Nataša, always positive, helpful and very kind person. 5 stars.
I absolutely loved Hotel Nota. Even though it is close to the city center or nearly in the city center, one could hear the birds and sounds of nature in the evening. An oasis in the very hectic and disorganized city. Breakfast is one of the best I ever had, and hotel stuff extremly nice, measured, helpful and discrete. I will always come back to this place.
This hotel was our best experience after many family visits in Belgrade. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the city center. We used their private parking. The staff was very professional and hospitable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. In other words very convenient accommodation that we'll certainly visit again :-)
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty big compared to other European hotels. It was pretty modern. Breakfast was good. The location is perfect everything is walking distance to the old city of Belgrade. Lots of restaurants around and they are very cheap and the food in most is very tasty.
Huge apartment with the best location in Belgrade, right in the city center. Great for big groups and can easily accommodate 12 persons. There are 4 separate bedrooms and very big living room with two small balconies overlooking Kolarceva. Apartment is clean, host was very polite and helpful. Highly recommended!
Hotel is spotless! I had the best night in 8 days traveling through Bulgaria and now Serbia and Best Breakfast ever. 10mnts walk to train station. Receptionist are welcoming and eager to provide info to assist you as a tourist. Loved here. Will be back
I don't know how much booking put on top of the hostel's price but for us it was more like a real hotel, not a hostel. Especially for Belgrade. We have slept in Paris for less. The hostel itself as a hostel is totally fine, we loved it.
I stayed on two seperate occasions. The staff members were super friendly, helpful and approachable. Also the best part was the location of the hotel. Can't wait to get back to Belgrade and to Stella Di Notte infact.
Love <3
Probably the best place to stay in Belgrade. Located meters away for Danube, and minutes walk from city center but still in a very quiet area. Staff is amazing and helpful and just made us feel very welcomed.
The location is in the best and most elite place in Belgrade. The owners are very nice and hospitable. In the true sense of the saying "Serbian Hospitality". They really work hard for the rental.
Clean rooms, staffs were very friendly and helpful.
Parking space available, breakfast and foods are great.
There’s one of the best hotel gym in Belgrade.
Great cost-benefit.
Everything was perfect. This is the best located hotel in Belgrade. The staff were extra polite and helpful, and the room was clean. 10/10 See you again!
