We loved the pool and the food mostly, but everything else was good. Location is isolated and quiet. There is a park and small lake just beside the hotel, where we enjoyed walking. Beds are clean and comfy with good bedding sets. Hotel provided us with everything...bathrobes, towels, slippers etc. Room and bathroom were clean and comfy. We enjoyed the pool mostly. Water was nice and warm. Pool is well designed and clean. They got us extra towels for the pool. Food is very nice and fresh and portions are big.

Located 15-20 minute walk from downtown Subotica. Literally attached to the bus station, so quite convenient when arriving and leaving the city, yet somehow is remarkably quiet at all times. I've never been in a cleaner hostel in my life. The brothers who run the place are incredibly hospitable and a pleasure to interact with.
Nice city to complete your day with Novi Sad or Sombor.
Nice city to complete your day with Novi Sad or Sombor. If you look for a relax options, Subotica is a good place, not big but also no small. There are a lot of grill fast food, serbian restaurants and bars and pubs. Really nice art nouveau architecture, don't miss the synagogue! 1 hour to visit the centre is enought if you are travelling with your car. By bus there are several connections to Novi Sad and also buses to Sombor (6:10, 10:00 and 14.45) it's almost 1,5h because stops in all the villages. At the time we were there (may 2024) train was not working.
Accomodations for good price and also food is cheap.

Very nice town, with a relaxed atmosphere.
Very nice town, with a relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly & helpful people.
Older style streets lined with trees which made for a very pleasant, cool environment even in 34C. Newer streets & areas complete opposite - we've lost the plot somewhere along the line.
Several places of interest & museums e.g. the China museum was interesting & the guide was very good. 160+ steps to the top of the tower giving great views of the city.
A little quirk is that if you don't buy your bus tickets at the bus station and need to catch the bus from the bus station, you have to pay a platform/entry fee to the station (Beograd is the same).

A very beautiful small town even more Hungarian than Serbian.
I recommend scheduling a tour of the Town Hall (and its observation deck) at 12:00 from Tuesday to Saturday.
The central square is more beautiful at night than during the day: buildings and fountains are very beautifully illuminated.

Subotica is a nice little town, clean, coquette and the main attractions are located close to each other, meaning that you can explore the town during a nice, peaceful walk admiring the architecture, the beautiful renovated art nouveau buildings. Also, the town has a lot of shade, a lot of big trees, making it really confortable during summer.

Subotica is really a nice town in Vojvodina, Serbia.
Subotica is really a nice town in Vojvodina, Serbia. Tourist information is really helpfull. In summer you can rent bikes. Lake Palic is a nice short trip from 30 minutes with bus 6 away from Subotica. Most people can speak beside Serbian and Hungarian also English which makes things easier to get around. Nice cute pedestrian area with nice cafe's and restaurants and beautyfull buildings in the center. I was there in summer once also now in wintertime during Christmas, very nice Christmas market in the center. Food is good too. Nowadays a little hard to reach as the Serbian and Hungarian railways are still busy fixing the railwayline, but if you manage to reach somehow Subotica or Szabadka in Hungarian, the town and surroundings are really worth it. Railway might work again next year. Well, who knows. I hope it.

Subotica was a delightful surprise.
Subotica was a delightful surprise.
The town has a relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful main square, as well as one of the most beautiful renovated synagogues in the world.
The art nouveau buildings are most lovely and one of them, Raichle Palace, now an excellent art gallery, backs onto a fine restaurant with a charming garden.
Locals are most friendly and helpful.
Perfect stay! This was a last minute booking due to a change of plans and we were first amazed how professional and forthcoming the host was. Then, the apartment itself was fully equipped and stocked with everything you need for a comfy stay, and the location is perfect both for seeing Subotica (a short walk to the center) and the surrounding area (easy access to main roads). If we are in the area again, we will definitely come again!
I loved everything about the apartment, it was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, the bed was the best I had in Serbia. The location is quiet, with 2 supermarkets nearby, but just a short walk to the centre. The hosts were great, spoke English and were very generous with what they leave in stock in the kitchen. The building is modern & secure, and there is an underground parking space. I hope it's available next time I'm in Subotica
Located near the centre of Subotica, this hotel offers good value. The facilities are clean, though a bit dated, but everything is in order and the staff is super friendly and always willing to help you out with anything.
Breakfast is off a menu and they make pretty good coffee.
Parking is on-site, to the side of the building and is regarded pretty safe.
Overall, a pleasant experience, I'd stay there again.
This is one of very few properties that looks just like the photos and feels even better. So many details are beyond what you get in many hotels such sa: towels smell amazing, hair drier has defuser and other parts, everything is so clean and tasty that you want to extend the stay. We are looking forward to staying here next time we come to Subotica. Bravo for the owners👏👌
What a wonderful place to stay right in the centre of Subotica. It's a private, quiet, fully furnished studio room with everything you could ever need and tons of beautiful ornaments and decorations. The hosts live next door, and have really gone out of their way to make this a comfortable and homely place, just as the name says. I couldn't have wished for better.
Crazy good value and charming apartment right in the best part of Subotica. As close as you can get to the train station and bus stations, but still in the pedestrian only center. Great quiet place in the courtyard. Nicest apartment in Siberia I've stayed in. The host is super super friendly and check in was easy. The courtyard garden patio is great too.
The apartment is really perfect for us travelling as a group of 4, everybody gets a comfy bed to sleep on, location is in the center, nearby many landmarks 🥰,
Owner is really friendly and helpful, we would definitely recommend our friends to stay here when they go to Subotica, and we'll definitely come back and stay here ❤️
The apartment was pretty comfy, the ubication was next to the city center, and the host was amiable. The equipation was more than the expected, providing anything needed for a nice stay, this also includes a lot tv channels in the tv for resting time, and maps to make city plans in Subotica and Palic.
It's a great hotel in the very center of Subotica. All of the famous landmarks and greatest restaraunts are literally next to this place. And it is nice, clean and calm. Restaraunt in the hotel works onlt for breakfast, but it's not a big deal - hostess helped us to order food directly to the room.
Very good apartment located near the border of Serbia and Hungary. The entrance is between two old apartment buildings, and is a bit difficult to identify at night. However the room was great, very comfortable and plenty of space to park in the courtyard. Highly recommended!
Just 100 feet from the Subotica center town hall. Excellent apartment and the room was fabulous. Perfect for solo and family travellers. Best apartment to explore Subotica. I will definitely recommend my friends circle. Thank you
Absolutely amazing place. Definitely the best I have stayed at. Quiet, but right in the centre inside a lovely little courtyard. The hosts are also especially helpful. If you are in Subotica, this is the only place to stay.
Wide apartment, located close to the center, recently built and nicely furnished. On top, the landlords are very kind and helped us a lot arranging our year-end celebration.
A must when you come to Subotica.
Best in Subotica. Staying here every time on Subotica. Host is very helpful. Flat is super cozy, clean and modern. Right in the city centre, but no noise from street. Highly recommend.
Clean, comfortable, good location, private parking everything you need for short or long stay. Host was very helpful and professional. We enjoyed our time in Subotica very much.
It's pretty clean room also there is a free parking. Staff tried to understand us and we get agreement. Also free breakfast. I can recommend this hotel for you. Thank you.
