Honored by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, Medina is affectionately known as both the "Prophet’s City" and the "Radiant City". The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or "Prophet’s Mosque". Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.
Whether you arrive directly at Medina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport or come from Mecca or Riyadh, check out the accommodation deals on Booking.com before traveling.

Al Madinah is a significant religious destination for Muslims, boasting numerous religious sites such as mosques and historical landmarks. However, navigating the city can be challenging due to ongoing infrastructure work, particularly when attempting to reach places like the Masjid by car. Many religious areas suffer from inadequate parking or are completely closed off.

Every Muslim should visit Madinatul Munawwarah and visit Masjid Nabawi (SAWS). Now you can visit Riyadhul Jannah once in a year. Also visit other historical places like Masjid Quba (first mosque built), Masjid Qiblatain and so on.
On my way to Umrah, I stayed at Anwar Al Madinah Movenpick for six nights in early January 2023. I was delighted with the room, which offered a great view of Masjid-e-Nabwi, and the vast courtyard in front of it. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. Daily breakfast, included in the room charge, offered numerous delicious options.
The hotel is steps away from the mosque and making it easy to pray at Masjid-Nabwi. On the other side is a central shopping area with many clothing and jewelry shops.
What a hotel!
One of the best experiences in Madinah, the hotel is located at the Southern East edge of the central area of the Haram!
Free parking is included but with limited spaces with first come first serve bases.
Room is very clean, 6 elevators are available
The stuff is very supportive and servicing in high hospitality specially Ms. Saba with her very professional style.
Highly recommended!
One of the best hotels in Madinah. Pocket friendly and comfortable as well. I suggest all my friends and family members as well as the who are reading this comment to give this hotel a must try.
In shaa Allah whenever I get a chance again I will stay in this hotel again and again.
Thank you to the staff and the people sitting for there kind service.
The hotel location is good due to nearby to Masjid Nabawi and small shopping activities in surrounding areas. If yu adventure enough, the buggy services route to Masjid Quba is another alternative for your shopping and feels traditional the more real Madinah's environments.
Hotel is just 5 to 6 minutes’ walk away from Haram (Mosque) Main door, So Location is Perfect.
Comfort and Cleanness is exceptional. Room service was perfect.
The Best place and Hotel to stay if you are visiting Madinah.

Hotel was not upto mark as in picture ,room standard and beds was pathetic,in same time we also booked one room in saja Al Madina that was very nice and clean room, it's wash room was so much dirty, room cleanings very pathetic
It was a pleasant stay at Al Ritz Al Madinah. Really loved the location as it is close to Masjid Al Nabawi, very calm and meditating atmosphere all over the place. All groceries and restaurants are in front of the Hotel.
This is my second time at Ruve Al Madinah due to the hotel being close to the Ladies entrance.
Their on location restaurant facilities are good with plenty of choice and house keeping staff were excellent!
I liked the hotel, the rooms are clean and tidy, the staff were lovely, the hotel based in Central al madina everything nearby, so yes I like it. I will recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Al madina
Location is best feature .
Staff at desk and floor were attentative
Stay at hotel is acceptable as you spend most of your time outside the hotel in Madinah
Laundry service was good value and fast
New and clean, there some of the items missing but is okay because the hotel is new , I hope that you can make a time for housekeeping not net every time asked then to do it
The hotel is luxury. The Landscape in front of the hotel was nice ( quite area ) . near the airport ( would be an advantage to those who are visiting Al Madinah by plane.
No respect for Qibla as Bed facing towards Qibla which is against the principal and rules and regulation of Saudi Arabia, Every hotel should respect The Qibla.
