With a perfect location on the southern slope of the mountain, the hotel offers beutiful views and a comfortable ski base. Although we do not ski, we only do hiking, we enjoyed our stay a lot! We received great ideas fitted to the weather conditions for family outings.
Hotel staff are exceptional. We stayed for the New Year’s Eve celebration, which was super fun, well organised and by the way, dog friendly. Everyone is kind, helpful and hard working.
Thank you for the unforgetable memories, Hotel Srdiecko!!

I selected this place because it is ca 3 hours drive from...
I selected this place because it is ca 3 hours drive from Budapest, and accessing the 2000m high altitudes of Low Tatras. The new integrated system of cable cars is just some kilometres away from Tále (one system accessing Chopok from northern and southern side) offer quick access to Chopok summit where you can make various trekking routes. There is a nice cave also nearby in Bystra. Tále+Low Tatra area was not so overcrowded than High Tatras during the summertime although very nice and gives the similar high mountain trekking feeling. Good restaurants offers local and international foods. But you definitely need a car to get around in the area.AAnonymousHungary

The whole building is cosy and smartly done. The wellness is very nice too. Food is amazing and so is the perfect background music, does not matter if you are having breakfast, relaxing in the spa, chatting at the bar or enjoying coffee with dessert on the patio. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the location is just perfect with great mountain views. We are definitely coming back for winter fun!

There are two ski buses for different ski areas stopping at the hotel and the ski areas are great as well. The food was great, even the coffee at the breaktfast bar was good. Not to mention the freshly made chocolate pancakes and egg omlettes. I really recommend a dinner at the nearby Slovakian restaurant Tálska Bašta. The Wellness area for adults is also a Highlight as well as the view up the mountains.

Hotel is located in the middle of the nature, very close to gondola station, so it's perfect for hiking or skiing out. Buffet breakfasts and dinners were good, bit limited selection for dinner but we were always able to find something good to eat, so overall we were satisfied. Spa is on the smaller side but well maintained and very pleasant for couple hours of relaxing after active day. Big thumbs up to staff and employees, they were really extra nice and friendly.

The room/facilities were clean, there was always toilet paper/soap, the breakfast and dinner was delicious and filling, the prices for drinks were moderate. I’d recommend this place for youngsters mostly as it can be quite loud during the night or just make sure you have earplugs. Otherwise the location is amazing, the view from the hotel is breathtaking. I was really positively surprised and pleased.
