Located between the Old Town and Bratislava's business district, one mile from the New Slovak National Theatre, the Apollo Hotel features a gourmet restaurant.
Score from 1587 reviews Very good
Location is excellent. To return to the hotel you will most likely walk by the Danube or down the leafy avenue from the Opera House.
The bar in the room was not re-stocked.
location, club in the same building
Location and stuff.
Facility, garage, price.
excellent hotel in old town staff very helpful
noise from outside at night
good location , near the Danube river and old town
Great Location Nice big room with nice big bathroom. We were lucky to have a room with a great view.
The hotel is not new, but it is maintained well. took a while to figure out how the lock is working....
Gym and breakfast excellent!
Tired decor in rooms on 3rd floor and wifi available but week!
cleanliness. the place needs a through overall
The staff would only ring a taxi which would charge you three times the normal price..No loyalty to there customer at all.call your own taxi its 3 times cheaper.
the location, the cleaness. breakfast, spa and fitness.
the room was a bit too small, the matress needs upgrading, the bath was uncomfortable, the staff was mostly correct but not helpful and un willing to help efficiently about necessary informatio for tourists, knowing that no body speaks english out side the hotel.
Everything was great.
Only the eggs were not boiled 5 minutes, like indicated.
LOCATION STAFF HOUSEKEEPING
WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE UPDATES /NEW CARPETING IN ROOMS, BATHROOM WAS LEAKING, NEW CARPETING IN HALLWAYS, FURNITURE IN HALLWAY LEADING TO ROOMS
- Excellent location, right next to bridge SNP and Hviezdoslavovo namesti - Very high speed wifi - Spacey room - Great price in a super location in a EU capital city. - Did not use the pool which seemed nice however - Good prices at the minibar
- Definitely not a 4-star hotel according to western Europe standards but a good 3-star one and a great price in a super location in a EU capital city. - Expensive breakfast (18 euros pp) however many other options outside the hotel might offer you better value for money
Swimmingpool and its beauty panorama
Hotels old looks
Location (right in the centre), reception staff, quiet room (view to the internal park and gym), room was clean and comfortable. In order to make your stay fully enjoyable, book the business room (breakfast and spa included, free wifi - only on the 4th floor and in the lobby). Two restaurants in the hotel in case you did not want to go out, but a bit pricy.
Air conditioning was blowing at full speed even when spent and with a little baby the temperature was not ideal. Breakfast was generous for salty food, but not for sweet part. Waitresses at breakfast were too gloomy and barely spoke English.
Good breakfast, nice and convenient location, comfortable guest rooms
Kitchen closes already at 10 pm, parking is definitely too expensive, poor air conditioning system
The only positive about this hotel is its location. It is centrally-located hotel and everything imortant is close.
The hotel is old, furniture in our rooms was too old and it should not deserve 4 stars. The spa was awful as well, I would not recommend to visit wellness at all.
Excellent location, beneath Bratislava castle and Old town centre.
No WI-FI in Hotel, no Air condition, I did not get the room with a view on Danube although I booked it.
Very commercial more than tourism
Quiet, friendly and in a great location.
Breakfast seemed disproportioately expensive, so we went elsewhere.
Interior design a bit drab
Situated in the very centre.
Parking price is almost half the price of the room. Too expensive.
Close to old city
It is too old and needs to be renovated. Parking is 27 euro/day and this price is not written in policies.
