Location amazing Parking is fair price
Breakfast is very boring, choice is limited all three days have to eat all the same Wifi is disgusting as everywhere in IBIS network Staff did not allowed to proceed with points of Le Club Accord card. Nothing was offered Cleaning lady did not really do the cleaning
the position of the Hotel is very central
The location of the hotel is perfect. You can easily walk anywhere in the city centre. Tram and bus stops are also close by. Also, the room was quite nice and very clean.
My booking was cancelled without notifying me to begin with....and the receptionist was incredibly rude and he reluctantly sorted out the problem. His attitude towards guests was unacceptable. The room was quite nice but it was boiling and air conditioning did not work properly. We opened the window for our entire stay (November) but it was still boiling hot and uncomfortable to sleep. Wi-Fi is extremely slow.
Location; staff very friendly, efficient and helpful
wi-fi was poor in my room; my room was noisy
The location made it easy to get to the old town in Bratislava just a few hundred metres away. The castle is a short walk up the hill, maybe 10 minutes at a normal pace. The staff speak every language and are always happy to help.
The breakfast was very poor for 9,50. The coffee was of the instant type, the toaster didn't work and the selection was mediocre. The tram passes right by the hotel and runs from 6am until midnight and despite the soundproofing you can here every tram come whistling out of the tunnel and rattling by your windows. As a light sleeper this made sleep very challenging
Enjoyed the breakfast. Good location. Rooms quite nice. Friendly staff. Good pub opposite!
Very small bar - wish it was bigger. Standard of room cleaning wasn't great - bed not made. Rooms very hot and difficult to keep cool.
Superbly positioned and very clean.Tram stop 200 m away and castle outside your window!
Two frankly minor issues. Towels of very poor quality. No coffee making facilities although having said this there is an excellent little coffeehouse 30 metres from the hotel entrance
Spacious, clean, comfortable room and good bathroom. Helpful, friendly staff. Great location - you can walk anywhere and very close to the old town. I would stay here again.
The only negative was the internet which was soooooo sloooow. You could do basic emails but that was about it.
Clean rooms and quiet rooms. Situated ten minute walk to the old city and city center.
What I missed was an electric catle with some tea and coffe in the room
Clean, good location
Internet very poor
Very good location! Overall OK. hotel.
Quite poor wifi connection! Nice hotel, but look of rooms could be better.
The bed and the mattress. The fact that it was in location close to the main attractions.
The staff was not polite, and to be more specific a trainee. The price was too high taking in consideration what you get.
Comfortable bed, clean room, distance from historical center,
Breakfast options for vegetarians too little :(
Location is the biggest advantage of this hotel. Staff friendly, always keen to help : )
Not working air-conditioning - despite the fact summer has finished I had a pleasure to have 25 degrees during my stay - to hot in the room with that temperature outside. No kettle, coffee or tea in the room.
- very good location - clean - friendly staff
- slow wifi connection - 1 towel / person
The location is great, just a step away from the historical center and the castle. Parking space in the garage only "a door" away from the room, very useful and confortable. Nice room, enough big for two.
The areation was very poor, in the room (2nd floor) we couldn't open the window enough to air the room well, also it was too hot when sleeping. The climatisation didn't work well. We understood that the window couldn't be opened more because of the security, but then the climatisation should be better. The breakfast seems a little bit pricy (9.00 eur) and also the parking (16.00 per day).
It's basic ... Clean basic furnished rooms... Our room rate didn't include breakfast which was a it of a shame
Location but im sure theres a lot more in that area with better services and customer care.
Staff not friendly and not polite at all especially Andrej.Rude! Wifi is so slow and most of the time not working. The complimentary internet in the park nearby is more reliable and stable. There is no AC.
Location Cleanliness Quality of breakfast
nice and friendly staff, all of them speak english pretty well. good range of stuff for breakfast
Though we stayed in the hotel for our visit to Vienna (prices in Vienna being double the ones in Bratislava), if you want to visit Bratislava it should suit you well. The hotel is really in the center of the city. 2-3 minute walking distance from the apparently nightlife locations. The Bratislava Castle is on the hill directly behind the hotel. A mesh of tram rails are passing directly in front of the hotel, though we weren't bothered by any noise in that department. Getting onto the highway from the hotel is also easy, if you are planning to take the car to nearby cities like us.
Although there is free WiFi in the hotel, we weren't really able to use it in the room, because the reception was really bad. They obviously made some effort and established multiple networks throughout the hotel but that means you have to sign in every time you change network for better reception and it still doesn't get better. In the breakfast room reception was OK, and we ended up planning our usage around breakfast time. Ventilation of the room was not good. After showering you have to leave lights of the bathroom on for a really long time so that the room is not stifling or else open one of the windows, paying attention that you don't get the one with the alarm. All in all price efficient, discounting WiFi.
Great location Really clean Value for money Very comfortable bed
Small fifth floor room with sloping roof. There is a road tunnel beside the hotel and when trams go through it there is quite a bit of noise, and we were on the fifth floor! Still with the window closed you couldn't really hear it.
Rude reception staff.
The staff, the people and the location.
The very slow wifi connection
