They didn't have any fridges for keeping cheese we bought. The breakfast was overpriced for what it is. Some staff were a bit cold. The tram is quite noisy, not their fault but still.
Great location. Cheap.
Noisy with trams.. Staff not helpful with wifi. wasn't able to use it very often.
Clean, well maintained, nice environment without excessive luxury, very comfortable bed, polite personnel.
Ibis web site let me down so had to book through Booking.com and lost Accord points and discount.
Location only 2 mins walk from Old Town walls.
İbis Hotels should change their policy about giving one towel for everything and should buy newer towels.
The hotel was at the heart of the city.2 minutes walk to old center.
Very bad matress , even worse pillow , very expensive breakfast (10€ /person)
Location, clean room
Wifi was not strong enough to reach the rooms so was difficult to plan activities.
missing a good coffee bean machine in breakfast, instant coffee lowers the breakfast standrad
staff was very good
Its a Ibis so you know what to expect! Good breakfast, really close to the Old Town and 5 min walking to the castle
Breakfast should be included. It is too expensive if you compare it with the meal prices in the city.
Excelent location, walking distance to the main attraction. Rooms are clean, small but enough for one or two nights. if you have time, stroll to the villas area, great old and new designs.
Breakfast is pretty average for 9 euro... but there are a couple of nice cafes within 5 mins walk of the hotel that make up for this.
The hotel is situated right underneath the Bratislava Castle and near the entrance of the historical old town so great for walking to attractions and the main square. Bus stops right outside if you want to get to the main station or Devin castle ruins (highly recommend this). Wifi in room was good, staff were very helpful. Great value for money!
Rooms are somewhat small, but given the price that's okay
Perfect location, good value for money
Behaviour of staff
Parking lot for hotel was very small. Even with Euro size cars, there were parking issues. Shower was a bit small and did not drain properly.
Great location, right below the castle. Price was perfect for this facility.
Nothing bad to say. I would stay there again.
Nice helpful staff, clean room, good location.
The hotel seems to be built (or rebuilt) in an old building. Fitting as much rooms on a story as possible seems to be working but does not provide enough comfort. Parking is for extra (you should know that parking is a separate "business "in Blava, so to say), parking spaces are pretty weird and mosťy narrow for a mid-size European car (Golf V Variant). Breakfast choice is pretty nice but very sad quality-wise. Cheap sausages, cheap ham... Cold scrambled eggs and sausages two times in a row. One would expect a little bit more value for their money.
The best thing about the hotel is it's location. Right by the Old Town, and minutes of walk from the castle. It is quiet, too! Staff was pretty nice and helpful, too.
Great location - close to the old town! Big room, clean. Good price.
no water kettle in the room, but you can ask for some hot water from the front desk
good location, friendly staff,clean room
A rather low-standard Ibis hotel due to old-ish furniture and small rooms. WiFi was not working on the 5th floor. Huge parking fee, 16 EUR for one night!
Very good location, a maximum 10-minutes walk to both the city centre or the citadel. Love the new cleaning and bedding standards of the Ibis hotels.
Unfortunately I could hear everything through the walls of the next rooms, from the phones ringing right through to the snoring and going to the bathroom on one side and a couple that enjoyed each others company on the other side. I only point this out due to reading the claim in the elevator claiming to have the quietest rooms for you comfort.
Staff were great, wi-fi was excellent and location beautiful position for best sightseeing access
No tea making facilities Breakfast was expensive given choice
Check in took 40 mins
Free WiFi very poor No tea coffee in room. Poor bar and very expensive.
Location and staff
