I liked the staff.s very traditional dress code, their helpfulness ,and smiles, I liked the music at night in the court,
aI like ,if a hotel is old, traditional, But- I like nice, clean new towels Here the towels are grey from being very old, the furniture is cracked, so doesn't feel clean. Needs to be refurbished.
old, out of date, impossible to open the window of the dusty room, poor food, it is a 60 old hotel more in the russian style with huge empty spaces, not at all to modern standards and far too expensive for back packers
views from window
power outage occurred secs before we entered lift. One of 3 lifts out of service all the time we were there.breakfast very poor, ate out instead
The hole hotel
Not much to like
Poor service and dirty bathroom
NIce pool, good location. Good food in nearby shopping center.
The room was big and comfortable enough. There is a shopping centre next to the hotel with lots of eating a shopping places. Its easy enough to get a pick up truck to go to the town centre for 40 baht per person. Personal were very friendly. Apparently there was a free pick up service from the airport??? i wonder why they dont tell you before you get there and why its not advertised anywhere....transfer to the airport isnt free though but its quite cheap, about 70 baht each i think it was.
As we arrived they gave us a double room with 2 beds instead of 1 as i had asked for when i booked the room months ago, as we waited to be moved to a different room we saw a cockroach crawling on the floor....so far not impressed...Then they gave us a room with a double bed but in that room we didnt have a hottub which we were meant to have in the room we booked....hairs in the bath...i was tempted to go to the supermarket to buy bleach and clean the bathroom myself.... Wifi didnt work a single time which was very frustrating. The hotel has live music at night which is not helpful if you are tired and want to sleep...its very very loud. Very far from the town centre.
Very large pool Next to a ok shopping mall Large rooms
Far from everything Chiang Mai has to offer.
Large pool and sun bathing area Use of Harris gym in mall
Poor service and lack of helpful attitude Tired and dated decor, including essentials like bed sheets and towels etc Wifi was infrequent at best
The dark rooms No hot water pot in room--very inconvenient Very limited toiletries00no toothbrush I stayed here in 2006 and it seems the facilities have gone-downhill.
cheap and a big room
old room unfriendly notes in room wifi is so slow like 20 years ago
Bathroom very old
Tour facilities were great, room was quiet spacious and had a good aircon
Bed was a bit hard, wasnt to close to the town
Nice to be right next to shopping mall with restaurants, etc. Beds in the room we were in were surprisingly comfortable.
Price for room higher because hitting high season (Nov-Dec 1914). I had tiny ants crawling all over one of my luggage and we were on 12th floor! I had no food in the bag and I just left them alone.
Prinyarat Kaman was very helpful booking the elephants for us! Hotel was a 5* quality and was great value!
Had to go to the foyer to get wifi
close vicinity to the shopping mall and the music in the evening was very nice. The traditional bazaar is a good surprise for any visitor and we enjoyed eating there.
cold water in the shower every day we were there.
The hotel it self. The buffet lunch
The buffet breakfast
We liked just about everything. Nothing to complain about regarding the Lotus Pang Hotel. Value for money it is one of the best Hotels we have stayed at. Very convenient with easy access to the Plaza. I recommend it to my Family and Friends.
This Hotel caters for large numbers of Chinese travellers, Consequently breakfast can become a bit crowded at times.
They have everything
Old fashion electrical equipment. Tv, pannel control...
The swimming pool
Things didnt work well in the room, but didnt bother us too much as just stayed one night.
The view was ok. The hotel itself was beautiful.
the bathroom was not very clean. I needed argent laundry service and they told me to wait for at least one hour. the staff were not very good in English. they understand basics only
Location was alright. interesting architecture and wood carving features throughout the building. The travel agent in the lobby (a chinse woman) was very nice and helpful, she organised all our tours.
noisy!!!!!! every night live bands that you can hear form the 11th floor! the music wont stop until midnight, so if you want to relax this is not the place. Staff not friendly at all. Internet connexion is poor. Massage girls talk to each other when doing massage, not got if you want to relax!
Wifi signal was okay
Beds very uncomfortable. Given 2 singles when asked for a double. No hot water and pipes full of air so the water would not run properly. Associate came to fix the water with a kettle of hot water. Overall experience was poor.
