The hotel is very near to the bus terminal, so it's a great option for staying the night if you're coming from Bangkok on a bus and have a ferry to catch the next day. We got a tuk tuk at around 8pm right after deboarding the bus, and it cost us THB 60! There's a seven eleven within walking distance which is open 24/7, so you can always get some groceries, packaged food if you're in the rush. There are several outdoor eateries open late at night but sadly they lack vegan options, though you can veganize various dishes if you're okay with 98-99% vegan food. Seven eleven does have quite a lot of vegan items though, so you can manage dinner/breakfast.
Trat 101 Hotel is ideally located for your stay. While you indulge in the famous night market with delicious street food, explore historical sites, and replenish your essentials in our renowned town,...

Host was incredibly accessible and helpful with helping with logistics of getting to the islands, showing me the night market and teaching me to cut a mango!

Laid back small town with plenty of interesting choices for food. Very welcoming people, nice and smiling. There's perhaps not much to do in the evenings, but during daytime you can walk around discovering traditional Thai food and snacks at very affordable prices. On Saturday afternoon and evening there's a very popular and nice street market. The small lake or water reservoir features a great sunset view and a walkway all around the perimeter.

Check your location.
Check your location. The road can be very difficult even for good, experienced drivers. Parts are very steep and narrow with sharp bends and you need to use first gear in places. No mention of this in the adverts and another time we would use local transport as they are used to the conditions and know the roads, especially dangerous when dark and always dark after 6pm so be aware! Very nice beaches and food and some areas have beach entertainment with a live fire show in the evenings. Plenty of activities, we enjoyed kayaking on the beach. There are viewpoints marked for excellent photos. Would like to stay longer next time.

Great guest house, but id recomend more than one night ( which people usually do before hitting the islands). Trat is a lovely old traditional Thai town, with lovely old buildings and super friendly locals, how Thailand used to be before mass tourism.

Trat is a very interesting town with lots of surprising history. The lake side area is very pretty, and the museum is really good. the town is very confusing to get around and very few eating and drinking places. It's quite industrial and unfortuately our hotel (Trat City Hotel, which was very nice indeed), but way out of town. Very few tuk tuks or taxis and too far to walk to the town and night markets. We hired a motor bike for the one full day we had in Trat. our hotels' restaurant 'Harprs' was excellent but the only one around so no choice for our 2 nights. We enjoyed our stay but not memorable....we won't return to Trat on our next trip.

Low key provincial town.
Low key provincial town. Not set up for tourists, and absolutely no hustlers. Great local market, nice back streets. Locals are really into exercise, and it was great fun to wander around at sunset and see all the activity! To be recommended as a stopover for stocking up before or after going to the islands.
Everything was beyond amazing. The location is very perfect. The bed, the room, bathroom. whole of the suite was so cleaning and comfortable. You can walk to access all services and explore the area
The welcome is second to none. The owners of the hotel are extraordinarily kind and generous and eager to serve the guests and fulfill all desires.
I booked for one night but i decied to stay one night more . i didnt expect this stay in my life. of cousre i will go back again every time when i visit Trat- Thailand.
This place is a gem. Truly a wonderful place to stay in an area with few options for hotels. We spent one night prior to taking the ferry to Koh Chang. Rooms are spacious and clean. Owners really go out of their way to make you comfortable as ensure all your needs are met. They arranged food for us upon arrival. And breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Also arranged taxi service do the ferry terminal. The service is really impeccable.
This ws the second time we stayed at Rimklong, and I expected it to be wonderful, but it was even more wonderful. Tuu is a mos gracious host and did everything he could to ensure we had everything we needed, knew where to eat, and what to see in Trat. The room was quite large, had a gloriously comfortable bed as well as high quality linens and great towels. I jus really appreciate the efforts Tuu has made to make the place wonderful.
Everything! The property was beautiful and exceeded my expectation! The owner and her mum were amazing and helped us so much! We checked in pretty late as we drove from Cambodia to Thailand and the owners mum took us to a restaurant to eat and drove us to 7 11 and took us to the ferry the next day. The rooms were lovely too! We will be back! 😊😊
….what a nice stop on my trip this was!
I never write feedbacks on accomodations. However, this extremely nice couple running this stylish, comfortable, ver clean Guesthouse within nature nearby Trat, definitely deserves the best feedback I can give!
Rented a Scooter, and explored the nearby Mangroove forrest.
Overall highly rcommended!
This was a really lovely place to stay with picturesque views along the side of the klong (canal). The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Trat was also a pleasant town away off the usual tourist beat with a fun night market. We had only booked one night to connect with a flight and wished we had planned for more time here.
Mr Tuu was a very pleasant host. He organized the transport from the airport to the hotel as well as the transport from the hotel to the pier. He showed us on the map where good nearby restaurants were and offered us his help during our whole stay in Thailand. If we are ever coming back to Trat we will definitely stay there again.
The lady who checked us in was so welcoming and helpful. The property is spotlessly clean and the room we had was large, comfortable and had a lovely balcony overlooking the canal. The hotel is very near to the Main Street but not noisy at all. We loved our stay here and will return when next in Trat.
The rooms are located perfectly in the town of trat. 7/11, food market, massage, some bars are only minutes away by walking. The ac worked well, rooms are clean and the hotel is quiet at night. Perfect for some days in Trat. They helped me get to the Pier and with all requests I had.
We are a family of four, so we had two rooms with double beds. The rooms were clean and modern with comfortable beds. We stayed here for one night waiting for the ferry to go to the Koh Kood island the next day. The staff were nice and welcoming. The hotel also had a nice pool area.
Oom, the host was such a great help with transfers and advice for ferries to the island, timetables etcetera. She also took us to the pier in the morning and can arrange transfers to and from Trat airport. Great service and she’s very friendly and helpful
Stayed in the big room, had bed, couch, and hammock, and fridge. Owner was very friendly and had us down for beers, and Trat is a great place to visit and explore.
Incredible value for the price. Well worth doing before heading off to the islands.
Comfortable and clean rooms and delicious food. Quiet and beautiful sunset. Looks exactly like the pictures. Short distance from Trat Airport and easy connection to the ferry pier. Would stay again if going to Koh Kood via flying to Trat.
Sadly only stayed for the night and didn’t get to experience much of Trat which was a shame. Was a good stay for the night and the host was great. Easily located to get to the pier for Koh Kood
Modern lodging and the SWIMMING POOL. Not many pools in this area. Also the design of the hotel lent to nice breezes coming through the common areas which made it very comfortable.
The owner was absolutely lovely. He arranged my trip to Koh kut and told me where to go in Trat.
The accomodation is well located in Trat, good coffee shop near by.
