My mom and I went down to Victoria for our Grandson's first...
My mom and I went down to Victoria for our Grandson's first birthday. We had a great time! However, the trip was way too short and we could have stayed longer. The hotel was excellent, the staff made sure to ask if they could help us/or if we needed anything every time we were in the lobby. Some of the other guests even helped my mom with her luggage. Getting around Victoria is rather easy. The folks that live there will gladly give you directions, or you can get a map of the city. There are a lot of cool , historical places to go see around Victoria too, you can't miss seeing those! I would defiantly recommend checking out Sweet Fountainz Bakery while you are in Victoria or just passing through! Their cakes and cup cakes are to die for.... their cookies are delightful and I am sure their items are just as delicious.

I lived in Victoria a few years ago, so going back to visit...
I lived in Victoria a few years ago, so going back to visit the place was nice. The town is decent, but there’s not much to do there unless you have an event to attend or friends to visit. If you do go, be sure to visit Kristin at Indigo day spa!

We came for business , and stayed just a bit longer for fun. Victoria has wonderful shops, friendly citizens, and is centrally located for family fun. the ladies at Baymont supplied a city map and simple directions: the zoo, riverside park, and rose garden were highlights of this trip. Beautiful historic section of town was amazing. We ate at The Pump house restaurant . It had been a functiioning old Pump station along the Guadalupe river. converted into a lovely reataurant. To get there, you drove through beautiful period homes from the early days of Victoria. Live music , delivious food, and the ambience was exceptional.KathyUnited States of America
