Huge rooms, free parking under the hotel that was very well lit and felt secure, super quick check-in and check out, everything was very clean, room was quiet despite facing the highway, large mini-fridge in room, Dove bath products, and best of all, just down the street from the office I was visiting.

We are from Connecticut and often visit our son who lives in Saratoga. We have stayed in several hotels in various locations in the Bay Area and found Mountain View to be most centrally located to everything we want to do during our visit.
The city looks fun and vibrant. There are tons of restaurants with every food type we like to eat (we love good food.) We highly recommend Mountain View for travelers visiting the Bay Area.

It is mostly a place for people to stay if their child is at Stamford or they have business in the tech field around there, or saw a show at the Shoreline and didn't want to drive home. No one goes there for fun, it is mainly a bedroom community and very pretty.

The stay was awesome.
The stay was awesome. The only problem we had was the TV, for those who are not techies it is a little complicated. Found a great Italian Restaurant just down the street. Cucina Venti. We were able to walk to the Shoreline Ampitheatre to see a concert.

Mountain View is a beautiful part of the Bay area.
Mountain View is a beautiful part of the Bay area. The downtown section on Castro Street had a nice pedestrian mall and a dizzying array of restaurants to choose from. We could have stayed two weeks and not patronized all of them. Convenient to Moffett Field and the Shoreline Amphitheater.

Beautiful leafy town with walkable Downtown and great selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Two train lines and plenty of buses make it easy to get around without a car. Computer History Museum and Googleplex are great places to visit especially for geeks!
Comfy rooms in a modern good vibes hotel. Very friendly and service oriented staff. The lobby/restaurant was great for work and socializing. The gym on site is amazing. It is big, has ample equipment and free weights, a big plus if you are selecting hotels with good gyms. Food and drinks were good / we ate twice in their restaurant. We had meetings in the valley and then this hotel is ideally situated, you can reach everything in max 20m (by car).
stayed at the penthouse which consisted of 2 rooms (one actual room and an upstairs loft) with 2 bathrooms, sofa bed and a kitchen. There was 3 of us with 2 dogs, and the space was roomy. Room was clean, they had all dishes sanitized in the dishwasher. Location of the hotel was perfect. Near so many eateries and markets, you literally won’t get hungry. I will stay here again
The attention to details… ergonomics, cleanliness, attentiveness and courtesy by ALL staff we encountered, amenities, robes and slippers. The location was ideal. Walking distance to Amphitheatre but also local restaurants, Starbucks, convenience store. Size Hotel made the check in/out process speedy vs long tedious and lengthy wait.
no non-sense hotel, just basically really used it for sleeping. It has a laundry room too (I think token-operated) if you need to wash your clothes. They have breakfast but really basic like bread and jams + tea and coffee + fruit (banana, oranges, etc).
Hotel was in perfect location for me. The room was well maintained with a nice large shower and sink area. The bed was comfortable. The food was surprisingly good for a small hotel. The door to the outdoor patio was also really cool!
VERY close to conference location.
"Instant" breakfast - instant oatmeal, hot chocolate... but if this is saved my $40-80/night compared to other hotels, then I am fine with that.
