very very bad service
decent value and location
heat radiator in room hissed and blew all night ! No way to turn it down or off and I did not sleep because of the noise and being overheated. Otherwise everything about the hotel was good.
Closer to everything
Not much I did not like
Great location, quaint hotel, cozy
Very small rooms no ventilation no ceiling fans noiseystreet out window
Great price for location!
Breakfast a little lacking.
very central to downtown and to moscone convention center
staff at the reception is not very friendly and not updated with packages that are delivered to hotel guests,
Sarcastic and rude front desk staff
expensive valet parking and expensive parking fee. i did not know that the parking fee.
Great location, room was not too small. Everything seems old but clean which is ok. The price a bit too pricy from what you got.
No hair dryer.
Location close to Union Square, restaurants, bars and public transportation. Clean, affordable but older and smaller.
Not much negative to say as long as you know what you're getting.
Location walking distance to Union Square. Staff very accommodating
My room was right above the restaurant / bar. Noise quieted down when bar closed.
The location of the hotel is great.
The room was uneven; it's like the bathroom was an addition or something. the bathroom door wouldn't shut. And it felt as if the bathroom floor was moving; almost like being on a train or ship, very odd. It was a bit noisy too.
Location, cleaning staff were very friendly.
Room falling apart, lampshades ripped and torn, room was freezing with no blankets. Super Noisy. Just really small and depressing. Looked like slum living. Hallways smelled like urine. Actually the whole place smelled like urine. Sad for this hotel, because it could be so great if someone would just love it and invest in it a little bit. Car valet brought the wrong car and so we were late going to the hospital. So unfortunate and we almost left but knew we were only sleeping there.
Front desk staff not friendly nor helpful
Rude staff. The two men that work the front desks need a basic lesson in common politeness when speakjng with people.
it was all great
I was having a great time what to dislike.
All Staff were extremely friendly. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. I personally like the easy access to the White Horse Bar. Can't beat the price for San Francisco. GREAT LOCATION!!!
Nothing bad about staying here!
Good location, great breakfast options.
Rooms are very small, the shower needs remodeling. It looks old and dirty. I showered with my sandals on.
Breakfast was terrible,
The location is great
You have to get the hairdryer from the front desk
good location, simple accommodations, easy access, restaurant next store as part of the hotel
restaurant had no desserts! and menu was very limited. Accommodations were dated - room was drafty, but one would expect that from the age of the windows.
Good value for a downtown San Francisco hotel. Location is about 3 blocks off of Union Square, with numerous restaurants close by. Free breakfast.
Furnishings are old, and tired, but room seems to be well maintained. Cooling seems to be controlled by opening the window, and heating can't be controlled in the room.
