Terrible wifi, you couldn't even use it in your room. Very small bathroom.
Good price, great breakfast and the staff were polite. A little far from everything but still a good hotel.
The hotel itself is situated perfectly - not too far (or too close) to Bourbon Street The amenities, rooms & pool are great but what really sets it apart from the rest are the wonderful people that are proud to work here & go above & beyond to make your stay a memorable one.
Unfortunately the wifi did not extend to our room. It would Connect temporarily, but for the majority of our stay we only had access once we left the room
The customer service was outstanding! The included hot breakfast was a plus!
Should not have to pay for parking.
Overall nice stay.
Our hotel was within walking distance of most of the things we wanted to see and do.V
Room smelled like it had been smoked in
Staff was so helpful
Wish there was a different showerhead... It wasn't adjustable for pressure...
The hotel has beautiful rooms and a beautiful courtyard! Staff is friendly! Within walking distance of Jackson Square and other French Quarter attractions!
How about a no smoking area around the out side tables!
Friendly and helpful, a great staff!
The exercise room needs to be policed more often. There were no wipes for the equipment, the water cooler almost empty. The bathroom off the courtyard, used by the many swimmers, needed attention as well.
Our room was pleasant. Breakfast was bountiful and good. The bartender, Patrick, was most pleasant. Everyone at the front desk was helpful.
The bed was tiny, definitely not a queen.
The staff were amazing! Lawrentay and Jay at the front desk made our trip memorable. Lawrentay went over and above to make sure our trip was perfect!
This hotel was in a great location. Quick walk to Bourbon Street and Frenchmen Street. Rampart is currently under construction to add a new streetcar line, so it's a bit of a pain getting in and out of the hotel with a car. Area is getting better. The projects across Rampart are being raised, so the area isn't as scetchy as it used to be. For the most part, the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. And the breakfast options were fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and I would definitely stay here again. There were only 2 cons. The parking spaces were limited and pretty tight. also, there is one elevator in the courtyard and it's very small. One of the employees made us hold the elevator for him, then proceeded to pin us against the walls with his arm full of pillows and towels. Rude. But he was a nice dude otherwise. Overall we had a really nice stay.
The price of the room increased by $100 on the Friday.
The hot breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful
Construction in front of the hotel, but that's not their fault and it wasn't heard in the rooms.
The location was excellent! It's on the edge of the french quarter, so we walked everywhere. It's very safe and the staff was incredibly helpful. They helped us organize some activities and even told us where to get the best burger. I don't think our trip to nola would have been as wonderful if we hadn't stayed there.
We chose this hotel for its location in the French Quarter. It is walking distance to most things in that area. There are lots of places nearby to eat. Bourbon Street is a short walk. We stayed in a room at the rear of the property which was very quiet. The included breakfast was more than adequate. The outdoor pool and surrounding area was a good place to sit.
That we didn't stay a extra night!
The staff was very friendly. The walk to Bourbon St. was a breeze. Breakfast was excellent. Kim, one of the servers during breakfast was a doll. I read reviews prior to our trip with people complaining about the construction going on in front of the hotel but it did not bother us one bit and we were directly facing it...it was actually pretty cool to watch for a little while but then food and drinks called so yeah...LOL! The overall hospitality at this hotel is top notch and we would definitely book here again!
The rooms are very small and darkly decorated with browns and oranges. The hotel is located on the edge of the French Quarter, so much walking is needed to get to all well-known tourist destinations. I didn't feel safe walking there alone after dark.
Traveling to a conference, I had a limited budget to spend on lodging. This hotel met the price requirements I had. The courtyard is pretty, although our room did not overlook the courtyard; we had a view of the roof of another building.
The location of the hotel is great - easy walking to shops, restaurants, tours, etc. Loved that it was on the edge of the French Quarter!!
Terrible Wi-Fi and cell phone reception, noisy partiers at night
Location, friendly staff, charming building with lots of character, safe parking
It would probably be nice if the bar stayed open longer but then we were in Frenchmen Street every night anyway!
Good location on the edge of the French Quarter. Nice hotel.
Staff and clean room.
The pillows weren't comfortable but there were feather and foam.
Friendly staff, old New Orleans charm, especially the open court yard.
Unfortunately the wifi was difficult to access and it constantly kept cutting out while we were in our room. The breakfast was also disappointing.
We stayed for 6 nights and had a great time here, perfectly located within the French Quarter. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and polite.
Comfortable and relaxed place to stay on the edge of the French Quarter and Treme. Very good value for money. Friendly staff, great breakfast.
Parking was limited and expensive, but worth it in the end!
Very comfortable, loved the courtyard by the pool to relax in the evening. The location was close enough to bourbon street to walk there, but far away enough to not hear the noise. The staff members were friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!
we walked just a few blocks to enjoy all the busy places we frequented everyday...restaurants/bars/Bourban street/parades/the river/shops and our hotel was quiet away from the lively atmosphere of NOLA and I will be back!!
