Room service was very good.
I didn't like the transportation shuffle when we arrived to the airport we waited one hour and a half for this service, also at the tren station we waited 40 minutes to pick up.
the staff at checkout in the morning were nice and helpful
The room was behind the elevator and very noisy from the elevator running most of the night, I asked for a different room as soon as I got there and noticed the problem, I was told the small rooms next to the elevators are allocated to booking.com booking as the price was discounted and couldn't be changed..It was not possible to be refunded and move to another nearby hotel. The Room was so small there wasn't even room for a computer desk. I stay in a lot of Hotels on Business and this is by far the worst I have experienced and highly recommend people not to stay there
Location to our event we were attending.
Rate given on booking.com was not the rate I paid.
Quiet at night
Not quiet in the early mornings and rooms are small.
Location, room furnishings
Unfriendly front desk staff
the shuttle bus to the airport
Free Parking . It was reasonably priced
the reasonable price had a condition. I had share my room with the lift shaft
The location is great. My wife and I walked to and from the Penn Station and there was police everywhere, so we felt very safe. The room is good, clean. We had no problems to park the car (it was one of my concerns). Breakfast was also good.
The night shift staff was not very helpfull in finding my packages of things that we bought in the internet. We had to wait for the next morning to get the packages that had been deliveried a few days before.
Lousy service at the reception
this was a nice clean hotel. We stayed here the night before we headed into New York. You could stay here and take the train in daily. Good location. Slept well
- The shuttle to and from newark airport and newark penn station works very well;
- Loud noise coming from the bathroom fan; - There was a hair inside my ice bucket;
The staff was amazing, very accommodating and friendly. The room that they booked me in was on the 3rd flr. I asked for one on a higher floor and they did it with no problem. They were also very nice about this. There is a great restaurant in the lobby.
The room was really small. For a room with a Queen size bed I thought it would have been bigger. The bed was ok. But the room was very cold. The heat didn't work too well, and the blanket was very thin. I've had better. But for one night it was ok.
The hotel was not clean,i found the bathroom not flushed and a dirty towel inside
Allowed a late check out which was helpful. Had to wait for flight till end of day, so provided a guest pass to use the gym and business center till end of day following check out. On-sight parking was helpful - valet if you desired. Free Wi-Fi. All staff were pleasant and helpful.
Had issues with using a "different" credit card for check in than the one that was originally used to book the room. Apparently was a Best Western policy - but in the end agreed to allow with assistance of Booking Buddy customer service. Desktop computer in business center was non-functional. Facility needs a coffee bar/shop, since there is no Starbucks in walking distance.
Every thing else was great
Long wait to be collected from airport , nearly an hour
The hotel is comfortable and the staff was helpful. Complimentary hot breakfast was ok. Located 10 minutes from Newark airport.
I waited 50 minutes at the airport late at night for the courtesy shuttle to pick me up. The hotel said the shuttle ran every 30 minutes.
Breakfast was good. Sandwiches and pancakes one of the best continental breakfast I have encountered. Shuttle service is available 24 hours from Penn station.
Room temperature was too warm and the thermostat was just a decoration.
The hotel is located very close to the Newark Penn Station, which is very convenient for visiting NYC. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. It also comes with free parking and breakfast. Good value for the money.
Faaantastic, hey trashcan.
Great room for the money, close to Penn Station Newark for access to NYC, great response time on van pickups and drop offs. And did I mention the fantastic free breakfasts? Good staff.
The free parking in New York area is a very nice surprise! Hotel is clean and staff is helpful. Quite easy (but long) to go to Manhattan.
Even though the hotel is in the centre, newark doesn't look safe in the night...nobody on the Street out of homeless and drunk people.
Free breakfast -- variety of options and taste good. The staff there were nice and helpful. Shuttle bus drivers, security and receptionist were professional and helpful, too.
I told staff I was bit by bed bug there. One of house cleaner tried to find the bug with flash light, but she did not succeed. The cleaner manager came and concluded that I was bit by something else or somewhere else. Do you know that how low chance people could find the bed bug especially during the daytime with flash light. You just want fool the customer! Then I told the manager that the room was very noised, She said she knew it. I said that the draining system in the show room (bathtub) was very slow. She said she knew it. After that, she asked back to me that whether I said to manager. (It seemed that I deserved the room because I did not complain). I told her I came here for the very busy study, I did not have time to argue with you. She told me she would tell her manager who would talk with me in person，but that person was not available at that time. I waited in the room. Nobody came, housecleaner changed the sheets everything and left. I did not have any proof and then I checked out. My question is whether you personally would like to live in this kind of hotel for any reasons. When customer pointed the problems, such as noise, draining problem, if you are a manager and you know the problems, how hard you use the word "sorry". However, you choose to criticize the customer. Do you know customer like me left the hotel early in the morning and came back later in the evening and then need to prepare things for the next day. I did not have time to complain to manager, instead I just want point out the problem to you, my expectation is the word "sorry". And the facts/problems are what you know it, but ... whatever. Thanks for letting me tell you my opinion.
Nice location not far from the airport. Parking was free but also close to public parking. Room was nice even though it felt a big worn. Good sleeping quality with nice beds.
