The only major complaint about either room we stayed in, was how hard and stiff the beds and pillows were. Both of us woke up with slightly sore backs ( all the walking probably contributed as well)
I was given a lesser room than what I had booked and paid for, and after having seen the tiny room with a view of a brick wall, I did go back to talk to the reception staff. After explaining everything and showing my original reservation, the staff were unable to move us, due to the hotel being full. But they did reduce our room cost and promised to move us the next day. The next day, the front desk were amazing and were able to upgrade us to a beautiful two story loft with a balcony facing Orleans and Bourbon streets. So the front desk was great, the hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect.
