Score from 78 reviews Wonderful
Expensive for what we got.
Towels and wash cloths thin and stained, floors not vacuumed during our three nights there, bed covers just thrown over unstraightened sheets, used soap placed into paper cup and the soap scum from the used soap not cleaned up on the skin rim, dust behind the coffee maker that had been there for DAYS, dirt around the edge of the floors and in corners of both the bathroom and bedroom, room was NOT worth $100.00 per night!!!!!!!! This is my second review!!
Nothing to complain about
Easy walk downtown. Spacious room.
Saggy bed and crude heating system. Thermostat was 10 degrees off. Beds were unacceptably saggy. Owners making effort to improve, so I wouldn't rule this out, but it was the least refined and most expensive hotel of our trip.
For $91 a night I expected more than the bare minimum.
The staff and owners of this hotel are as accommodating as one could hope for. Details would include help with vehicle repair and emergency transport to meet friends.
Very little is lacking in this hotel. I have stayed in more than one room at this location, so I can accurately say that the only weakness was some direct lighting needed for computer work in one of the rooms.
What a breath of fresh air Budget Host in is!!! Staff was the friendliest we encountered on our trip west! Rooms were spotless, it was obvious that the staff takes extra care & pride in their work, We had a real key for our room! Ended up booking another night here because it was so pleasant!
The room was very clean. The service was awesome, the lady at the front desk couldn't be more helpful. Close to everything. Good price.
Spacious and well furnished. Hosts very helpful and welcoming. Great location.
Clean room. Sink separate from shower and toilet is convenient. Parking right outside of room meant no steps to haul luggage, very convenient.
With exterior door flies were hovering and flew into room as we were unloading, a minor inconvenience, and it unified the kids on their mission to hunt it down.
Staff excellent. Provided us with lots of information to make our day at Yellowstone even more wonderful. Hotel location excellent-walking distance to most everything. Very reasonably priced.
Clean, convenient, less expensive than the other hotels around Cody. The staff said a major renovation is planned for the fall of '14 with new mattresses on the way. If they do the renovation, it should be a nice little place to stay on your way to Yellowstone.
Mattress very old and soft. Outlets didn't have the capability for a three prong outlet. the outlets need to be upgraded to take the ground prong. they had adaptors, but not enough, we had to move the fridge to find a plug to put the food from the cooler. The Shower stall and bathroom was very clean, but the shower stall was tight, hard to bend over in the shower.
Located within the area I wanted to stay and was half the price of others.
Brenda has helped us out quite a bit with finding accomodation around Yellowstone. The room was spacious and very clean. Nice shower!
Nothing we didn't like.
Tub was unusable, faucet didn't work, staff simply blamed previous owners
Location close but quiet. Other quest very comfortable which isn't always easy to control.
I plan to arrive this inn around 10 pm and when 9:30 I got a friendly text from its staff to notice me that they will close at 10 pm. After a short chat , she want to wait for me for 15 mins till I arrive. I feel so happy about this. Her name is Brenda, Thanks a lot! And the living condition is very good, very nice experience!
the staff was outstanding. everything showed a personal touch. Great example of a vintage hotel well managed.
Arrived super late but keys left out for us, room really clean and comfortable, fridge, micro etc - excellent value for the area and helpful staff in the morning.
An older motel, well maintained with a wonderful staff !! Highly recommended for those traveling on a budget.
The only 3 pronged plug is in the bath. WiFi signal weak or non-existent
The room was very clean, the management was responsive to my needs. The check in process went well. WIFI worked well. The water pressure on the shower was good and the bathroom was very clean.
The mattresses are old, the management promised a complete renovation this coming October and new mattresses are already ordered and will be updated this fall. We had to move the frig to another plug in the room so it would work, (but beware it is on a switch) the room's electric needs updating as it still has sockets the don't accept a tri-pronged plug. That was also promised. That should be necessary for today's travelers. The shower was a bit small and it was difficult to bend over while showering.
Typical experience for this chain. Good comfortable no problems
Close to Yellowstone
Room was noisy Getting the shower to work was quite tricky, but we just had to pull a tiny element out of the water tap to get it working. The room did not give a good impression; the air conditioning was stuffed in a hole in the wall, and bad curtains did not ensure privacy.
Not enough plug ins. One in ceiling - HUH!!! Had a frig no plug in to use. Headboard fell off the wall. Air conditioner had to work real hard to keep room at a livable temp. Rates were to high for the accommodations. For this price the place should have been in comparison to other larger hotels. Lady who checked us our was rude. Not a person for the front desk work.
