The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us a free upgrade to accommodate an unexpected friend that joined us! Would recommend, especially if you're snowboarding in Northstar.
Spacious room, good kitchen, parking, location, price.
Thin walls, noise from the other rooms and the street. Slow old elevator. Small shower with poor pressure.
staff was very helpfull
they have very old ac/heater system, so you cant really regulate it the way you want
location to downtown reno
horrible decor, no room service( not appropriately coveyed to us that it was a time share, and who would EVER buy into this dump) room was awful, one plug in the poorly maintained miniscual bathroom, air conditioner was so loud we slept in the heat, wifi was terrible,we were on the fourth floor but ice was only available on the first floor, our coffee pot was broken, and the door to our room stuck so bad we had to kick it to get it open. Oh yeah the elevator was filthy. Other than the above, our stay was delightful.
Short, short walk to downtown and price was fantastic. Nice to feel like you are staying in a little apartment instead of simply a hotel room.
Bed wasn't that comfortable. Definitely needed a better mattress.
I love the location. Close to everything yet quiet.
Some rooms have a musky smell.
I've been a regular to Reno because of my work and I usually bring my family with me. I've tried many hotels there and I'm so happy I have found Legacy Vacation Club. It's also close to downtown and Century Theaters. I recommend this not only to a families but also to individuals who would want to do some cooking.
It was quiet and in a good location to walk to downtown. The employees were always friendly
Carpets were dirty in the room and hallways. The place needs a serious update on all public places and fix the stairs in the back, fire hazard.
Everything was perfect!
Didn't get to stay our last night due to family emergency.
Fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Quiet. Parking garage.
air conditioning stopped working after the first night. we did not complain either, to be fair, they probably would have fixed or changed rooms for us. The couch faced the table and chairs, not TV. The tv was only visible from the bed.
The location was good and the staff were nice and helpful.
The room did not match the quality of the rooms advertised on this site. It was a very run-down motel like building with many small repairs needed in the room. The fold out couch was not made up with bedding nor was bedding provided without having to ask extra for it. I would not consider this a 3-star location.
Thin walls and noisy air conditioner
Everything was great!!!
The tooo small shower
I liked that it really is a half a mile or less to circus circus and the main casino's..
The ac is a bit loud but it does cool the room down fast.
I booked online and had proof room was paid for but wasn't showing in there system yet,so they made us wait 2 hours before they finally gave us one.Took my family to a show and when we got back "Victoria" there incompetent receptionist was yelling saying "there's someone in our room"! After she stopped freaking out I made her take me to the room and our stuff was still there then she laughed and said oh must of been a mistake.later that night somebody was trying to get in our room apparently she booked our room to somebody else .and again she said I made a mistake. Her and all the staff were morons and have no business running that place.
The location is great. Teenagers enjoyed the pool table and ping pong area.
Not sure why no cleaning done during 3day stay. Emptying trash and new towels would of been great. If we were to ask for service it was never mentioned at check in.
The place would be fine if it was rated a 1 star facility.
The vacation club building had a fresh coat of paint but was very old and dated. The room was not clean and the room smelled like mold. Some of the staff were nice however one of the staff was very rude. After booking the room on booking.com we showed up to check in and they did not have our reservation. He said since they were an owner owned timeshare and not a hotel, they needed to wait for a fax from booking. The guy was not happy about us staying there. We ended up leaving and returning later. We have never stayed in a 3 star hotel that was in this poor of condition. My wife and I were not comfortable in this place.
2 room option available for family
13% resort fee -- ouch!
Bed size is small for a 2 p room Shower could use Some maintanance Airconditioning is extremely loud.
nice large, clean room. walking distance to casinos, riverwalk, parks
parking was tight, afraid of getting car door dinged.
They did a good job making the building look good. The TV was good and the cable had clear channels and a good selection. The wifi was GREAT! This is the best WiFi I've had at ANY hotel, even expensive rooms I've stayed at - my room number was in the low 300s, FYI.
At $100/night (for 2 nights), it wasn't up to par. I'm a big guy (but not a huge fat guy) and the shower was barely usable. There was plenty of room in the bathroom, but the shower (no tub) was smaller than a coat closet! Also, there was an odd, large 'storage' space in the room that had the AC unit above it, but no shelves and no luggage stand.
shower was horrible, smelled in hallway and in room, paint was peeling on wall in room
Very bad service.
Was all Great...
