I've been a regular to Reno because of my work and I usually bring my family with me. I've tried many hotels there and I'm so happy I have found Legacy Vacation Club. It's also close to downtown and Century Theaters. I recommend this not only to a families but also to individuals who would want to do some cooking.
It was quiet and in a good location to walk to downtown. The employees were always friendly
Carpets were dirty in the room and hallways. The place needs a serious update on all public places and fix the stairs in the back, fire hazard.
Fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Quiet. Parking garage.
air conditioning stopped working after the first night. we did not complain either, to be fair, they probably would have fixed or changed rooms for us. The couch faced the table and chairs, not TV. The tv was only visible from the bed.
Thin walls and noisy air conditioner
Everything was great!!!
The tooo small shower
I liked that it really is a half a mile or less to circus circus and the main casino's..
The ac is a bit loud but it does cool the room down fast.
The location is great. Teenagers enjoyed the pool table and ping pong area.
Not sure why no cleaning done during 3day stay. Emptying trash and new towels would of been great. If we were to ask for service it was never mentioned at check in.
The place would be fine if it was rated a 1 star facility.
The vacation club building had a fresh coat of paint but was very old and dated. The room was not clean and the room smelled like mold. Some of the staff were nice however one of the staff was very rude. After booking the room on booking.com we showed up to check in and they did not have our reservation. He said since they were an owner owned timeshare and not a hotel, they needed to wait for a fax from booking. The guy was not happy about us staying there. We ended up leaving and returning later. We have never stayed in a 3 star hotel that was in this poor of condition. My wife and I were not comfortable in this place.
2 room option available for family
13% resort fee -- ouch!
Bed size is small for a 2 p room Shower could use Some maintanance Airconditioning is extremely loud.
nice large, clean room. walking distance to casinos, riverwalk, parks
parking was tight, afraid of getting car door dinged.
They did a good job making the building look good. The TV was good and the cable had clear channels and a good selection. The wifi was GREAT! This is the best WiFi I've had at ANY hotel, even expensive rooms I've stayed at - my room number was in the low 300s, FYI.
At $100/night (for 2 nights), it wasn't up to par. I'm a big guy (but not a huge fat guy) and the shower was barely usable. There was plenty of room in the bathroom, but the shower (no tub) was smaller than a coat closet! Also, there was an odd, large 'storage' space in the room that had the AC unit above it, but no shelves and no luggage stand.
shower was horrible, smelled in hallway and in room, paint was peeling on wall in room
Very bad service.
Was all Great...
Was not aware of the location across the river away from the nightlights.
Too far away to walk to casinos.
I arrived and was told my room had been given to someone else, and they had simply changed my reservation, we got to the rooms and the carpets were dirty and appeared more like a hotel people go to do drugs. Front desk staff was incredibly rude and argued with me over the size of the bed, which was a double, not a queen, after 3 moves we finally got into a room a little more suitable, but still not worth 100 dollars per night. The small beds are incredibly hard and I now require chiropractic care after sleeping in one. I will never book here again!
I loved the pillows, best pillow I've ever slept on! The fridge n stove was a plus although we didn't use the stove.
Unit 220 has the loudest heater you've ever heard..not sure if all the rooms are this way but it was crazy. So either u freeze or deal with a whirlwind in ur room. The pics make this hotel look like a resort, far from it..it's clean and average, I'd compare it to a "days inn" with a stove but double the price...not likely to stay again
Value, room amenities for my family
Location - right down town, within walking distance to casino's, river walk, resturants.
Size of "studio". There were 3 of us, it was quite crowded. The airconditioning did not work in our room, we had to relocate in the hotel. The elevator was very small, and rattled loudly.
The facilities/amenities were more than expected.
The location is adjacent the river walk which is excellent. the only downside was the court house across the street and associated traffic.
The tv was too small and needs to be upgraded to flat screen. The air conditioner needs to be upgraded. Was soo loud. Could not sleep all night. The mattress was terrible. Had to move too floor. Sunk in the middle
Central location, clean quiet surroundings, value priced.
Room had a hide-a bed instead of two full beds. Shower head was far too low.
Poor parking, single elevator, a/c did not work well
