fair price free parking good wifi
old facilities far from the city
GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY, GOOD LOCATION FOR TRANSPORTATION INTO DOWNTOWN PORTLAND.
- good parking - cross the street to 7-11, about 15 minute walk to Safeway - good thoroughfare(sp?) and easy to find Sandy Way on maps - conditions are nice inside, ok bed
- price could be cheaper
Friendly staff. Newer owners, trying to improve appearance of rooms. Microwave and mini-fridge in room. Good ac unit.
Chair in room needs replacing.
The manager was helpful.That's it.
That we were bit by bugs.
It's kinda far from the downtown, but the bus stop is just crossing the street. There's also a grocery story very close to the hotel.
I spent two nights and the maid didn't come at any time. I had to call to ask for clean towels.
Convenient location for the business trip I was on. Good value for what I needed.
Wifi signal was weak and almost non functioning.
Courtesy of desk clerk, original reservation was for an upstairs room, I'm handicapped, she arranged for a downstairs room.
wi-fi good air conditioner people were nice over the phone.
Seemed kind of old and dirty. The air conditioner was pretty distant from the beds. Not the best part of town.
Location. Last-minute availability.
Kitchenette was infested with ants. I could not rouse the manager in the morning to tell him. Furnishings were worn. Something in the bathroom ceiling (fan?) was torn out and not replaced.
The way the receptionist was dealing with me was the worst thing about my staying at the motel, she is the worst receptionist I've ever dealt with !
nice and quiet
could not open window to air out room weird smell
Outstanding wifi, friendly-enough staff, hot showers; tv, mini bar, fridge, desk; shampoo and plastic wrapped disposable cups
Clean enough for a motel, but sticky floor around the bathroom, frayed and a bit stained towels, bit of blood on the floor; parking lot lighting wasn't great. I still feel it was good value for the money. Fine for a solo male traveller.
Slow Wi-Fi, no hot water
I was not expecting as nice, or clean, as a room for the cheap prices.
None of the staff was courteous at all...starting with the lady who I spoke to on the phone before check in to the man who was working at night. I went out of my way to respect them and their property rules. All I got in return was short, curt responses, and I was even cut off mid sentence with a snide comment. I will not EVER be back.
Attractive rooms, large bath towels, air conditioning, near to dining and shops, friendly staff.
Some traffic noise.
was right in the city and close to where I needed to be
room was dirty. not that it hadn't been clean, but there were stains on the carpet, the blankets on the bed were torn or had cigarette burns on them and there was mildew in the bathroom.
Price was just OK for what it was.
Very loud, doors slammed all night. People above must have one heck of a party.
I liked the fact they had a room available, but -- and I know this sounds extreme -- knowing what I know now, I would have been only slightly worse off sleeping outside in a well lit area as I waited for the max to start up and me to the airport.
This place is out of a Coen Brothers movie -- and not the quality hotel like in Barton Fink. We're talking rough, crime ridden roadside motel in Fargo. The air freshener used was so strong my eyes burned when I entered the room. The room hasn't been upgraded in 40 years. It was technically clean, if you ignore the build up of filth and cleaners that have effectively become part of the walls and surfaces. Stay here if it's your last option (as it was mine in Portland during a busy tech conference).
Filthy. Flies in the room. Trash overflowing outside room. Homeless man asleep outside room near stairwell. I have low standards and I had to leave after being in the room for a few hours.
