Bathroom floor was dirty. Had to ask for towels three times. Elevator noise all night. Don't stay in room 1101.
Quiet and comfortable! Great value in a good location!
Cosy and comfortable rooms with good wi-fi and good light system for work in the rooms, good business-center
Make no mistake the Club Room is too small for two people. We were alright but tripped over each other a lot. Our AC didn't work the entire time we were there and it was too much trouble to complain, re-pack, move all our stuff to another room, and re-un-pack so we just dealt with it. Our room didn't get serviced the first night we were there. I felt as though I'd payed too much to stay in what was essentially an overpriced, well located Holiday Inn.
The location was close to where we needed to be and free WiFi is never bad.
No good TV channels
Fitness to room n shower
cleaning is not always good as expected
I really enjoyed my long stay in this hotel. Almost everything I've loved. Especial thanks I would like to address to the hotel manager - Maysoon Miller who does her work in a very high level and just a special person I've ever met.
The club room we stayed in, although small, was great. We booked it to be close to Minute Maid field for an Astros game, which was only a few blocks away. Great value.
1st room assigned was not clean. Replacement was fine. Houston is an odd place. Disconnected from "people".
CQ in a safe walkable location toinutemaid to go see an Astros game. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good assortment of power snacks in lobby.
Bathroom was not properly cleaned up with hairs still on the floor... Disgusting.
Helpful Valet parking stuff
When I first checked in the receptionist said, "let me see your id" which I percieved as rude. After talking to her she turned out to be friendly and helpful but I was not happy with how our interaction with the hotel started.
Comfortable bed and clean. We also really liked one of the valet's, Amir, he was very friendly and courteous.
We liked everything about it.....we travel often and this was the best place we have stayed
Didn't find any!
elegant high-quality accommodations with nice perks such as free wi-fi (which actually works and is fast!), free coffee and snacks in the lobby. Rooms are nicely furnished with lovely fabrics and quality furniture and desk and feature multiple light fixtures, including reading lights and multiple accessible outlets (one of my pet peeves in hotels is poor lighting and hard to find outlets). Staff are friendly and helpful. Centrally located in downtown Houston. Outstanding cost/benefit!
The room was extremely small, and the king size bed was two beds stocked together
Easy to get around city within ten minutes to various attractions and restaurants. Great free laundry facilities as well as complimentary beverage and snack area. Excellent WIFI connection.
Reception staff offered me to have a room ready, then forgot about request and let me sit in the lobby for 1,5 hrs (!). Got an upgraded room as an apology -- yet the suite had a refrigerator which was as nois as if mechanics were working in my own suite all the time. There was no trashbin in the kitchen, nor anywhere else but in the bathroom. Reception told us that self-parking on the street costs $15/day, so we chose the hotel's valet parking at $20/day, thinking it would be safer. Had to wait a long time for the valet to turn up, only to learn that the valet takes the car to the publicly available garage. We learnt later that self-parking on the streets costs $5/ day, and not $15.
Fairly centrally located, also easy access to University of Houston Downtown.
I loved the location and valet parking!! The room was a perfect fit for my husband and I and was very clean and comfortable!! The staff was also very nice and attentive! We will return!
The cleanliness of the room.
The facility and staff
I think we would have a microwave n mini fridge.
I liked the location of the hotel and the staff was great.
Relaxing, wish it was possible to order the bedding. Wow!! Was so comfortable
We checked in around 9 p.m., after a long journey. The person at the desk clearly did not enjoy his job. No welcome - actually, the opposite. Very disappointing.
Great location, close to convenient breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The light railway has a station close by that connects you to local attractions.
The location was great and we were able to walk to dinner and to our concert. We were upgraded to a suite and it was lovely. The staff were knowlegible and helpful.
The bar closing at 10:00 p.m. The bathroom was really small.
Location and staff
Generally very happy--would have liked sufficient Keurig coffee in the suite. And, warmer weather!!
Loved the vintage lobby, especially the floors and molding. Staff was wonderful, especially hotel mgr Maysoon Miller. Fun to have snacks and newspapers in lobby, and appreciated printers for boarding passes.
