It is not related to the Hotel itself, no criticism at all, but please keep this in your mind: you have to reach the East side of Yosemiti (!). There is the Tioga pass and the Sonora pass, you have to pass any of them to reach the East side w/in reasonable time. But Americans close these passes easily, for very minor reasons: 5 snowflocks on the road are enough for them to block the road, any reasonable Driver could make it, but they always account for the most stupid Driver ever in this world who might fail on 5 snowflocks on the road only. I had to go 7 extra hours all around Yosemiti for a stupid reason like that. Terrible shit! If you come from San Francisco Area, better choose a place where you don't have to cross mountain-passes. You never know about isolated snow-flocks. There might be a few one's, even in summer.
The rooms are tremendously large, with a great view onto the neighbouring mountains. The Resort looks great as well. Having an individual chimney-fire in your room (powered by natural gas) is a great idea, makes it so comfortable. I would like very much to come back to this place.
