Score from 402 reviews Very good
the staff was nice and the bed was comfortable
The walls are paper thing I had a couple in the room next to me fighting at 2 am and i could hear everything then security came to my door asking us to be quiet when it was next door. It was not a pleasent stay everything was falling apart and was not to clean. I rather pay more then stay here another night.
The location was amazing! Very central to lots of restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And the cookie upon check in is a nice touch.
Housekeeping service was a bit inconsistent. One day I only had large body towels, and the next day I had all the towels that usually come with the room (hand towel, face towel, body towel, and floor towel). It was a surprise everyday cause it would vary day to day if I had all my towels.
Starbucks with limited hours
good tv. loved the location.
the young girl at check in was not very helpful. when I asked a question about parking, she acted as though it was a stupid question. the room was out dated and the carpet dirty.
Old, and out of date
Only thing we liked was location. And one parking attendant who finally fixed problem front desk tried to do three times.
Room smelt old and musty. Could not get through parking lot gate with our room key dispite correcting issue THREE times with front desk. Waited in line 2nd time for 10 min to fix problem AGAIN only to be inturupted by a guest who did not wait in line...agent stopped helping me and helped other guest..apparently they were more important. Had to call for help EVERY time we entered or exited lot. People behind us got frustrated with us EVERY time. They tried to charge us for two cars when we only had one. NO ONE cleaned our room after our first nites stay...they charge for parking but don't tell you this at check in. Pool bar not open. Main bar doesnt opens until 4.. WILL NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
I loved that it was in walking distance to Universal.
Could be a little cleaner. After being at the parks all day, we came back to the hotel to find what appeared to be a bloody fingerprint on the wall and a blood streak on one of the new towels. Management was called but only took it seriously after the third call which at that point I was furious!
Loved the staff, everyone was friendly. The buffet staff was excellent and went above and beyond in the customer service department. Amenities like Starbucks, a lounge, restaurants etc. were fantastic.
The beds are hard, the rooms are old and need updating. The rooms are VERY noisy. Sleepless night the first night. Parking fee of $15 per day is unnecessary. I think parking is a part of being at a hotel.
Felt like a cheap hotel from front desk to cheap looking rooms and they put a charge to keep my car in parking lot i will not stay in another double tree i felt i was taken atvantage of
Friendly staff, good gym & pool!
To have to pay for the car parking! One of our rooms smelt fusty 232! This room could also have been refurbished!
Maybe the comfort of the beds but that's really about all.
No continental breakfast. Location of bar and lounge was terrible for anyone with a family as it is located right in the open in the lobby. Families don't need to see the drunks and alcohol in plain view. Didn't like the fact that guests have to pay an additional $15 to park in the hotel's parking lot even though they are staying there. This was ridiculous, never have seen this before. Not
Bed,pillows& staff great
Needs face lift. Deli, bar needs 2 steps up
Loved the free cookies on check in
Hotel too busy to close for much needed refurbishment
My room was filthy AND smelled of cigarettes. When I asked to switch rooms, the only possible choice was on the other tower, and I was told there was no guarantee that it would be any better. Wow. Front desk did send up "house keeping" IF that is what you want to call it. The remedy to the smell?? Housekeeping came in with a spray bottle of deodorizing solution, while we we all still in the room, and proceeded to spray the floor. Disgusting. So, not only did it smell like orange cigarettes at that point, the floor was now wet. Unacceptable. Period. The room had mold on the ceiling, the room was not clean. The hallway to get to the room was filthy, not only with debris, but food as well. My favorite was seeing housekeeping in the morning as we were leaving, chatting away on her cell phone while she was "cleaning" a room. SUB PAR. SUB PAR. SUB PAR. HILTON COMPANY YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. WE WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN.
The lighting is very gloomy this kind of lights is used in offices not in hotels also there was a lot of noise and the door was so heavy and the staff were not that friendly the only one whom I felt friendly was Andy the one who rented me the car from avis
The pool and hot tub! And the location was great since we were going to universal.
The hotel was very close to universal. The beds were comfortable. There is a nice hot tub. There is a shuttle that will take you to and from the park.
There's not much to do in walking distance. The lighting was very dim and there was no fan in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was a ridiculous price. The furniture was old a worn down. And the maid essentially just made the beds and picked up towels. We ran out of cups on the first night. I'll probably stay at a universal resort next time.
The bartenders and wait staff at the restaurant were AWESOME. Super friendly and helpful.
The bar was out of olives my entire trip and all I wanted was a dirty martini :(
No Microwave in room,no kleenex in Bathroom,no shower caps in Bathroom.
Good Location Good Services: -(Universal Shuttles) -(Computer + Printer)
Very Old and Outdated Furniture considering it is part of (Hilton Hotels).
you could walk to Universal from the hotel. The ITrolly is literally outside the hotel.
Location, room is great, wonderful view through the window. Price is reasonable
They charged our card when we booked and then refunded it without us knowing thinking we already paid. Whenwe asked the manager they were rude and treated us like we were beneath staying there if we "couldn't afford it" we were on our honey moon. It was terrible!
Really close to universal studios.
Staff I encountered could have been friendlier.
