The only thing we did not like and was the elevator. When it was during breakfast and happy hour by the lobby, the elevator was always full and the elevator will pass are floor. One time it took us 15 min to finally get a elevator... Other than that, great hotel!
The location (in the heart of the city) The amazing view The kindness of the personnel I definitely recommend this place.
The location of Element Times Square is excellent. Very close to Theatres, restaurants and shopping. The room was a good size. Having a kitchenette is a plus. Like all Westin hotels, the bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed our time there and if ever we are lucky enough to go back to NY, we would stay there again.
We only had breakfast (which is included) one morning as we weren't too fussed on it. The food was easy to prepare food. Disposable plates, cups etc are used. Seems really budget. The whole breakfast room is very unattractive but with a bit of thought, the room could look more appealing. Perhaps it is like it is so people don't sit there for any length of time !
Staff were helpful and friendly, good beds, good lights and chair and couch Handle a large crowd of breakfast well Location right by Port Authority subway and less than 5 minutes to Times Square
The elevators are a diaster. If you are in a higher floor the elevators become full and will not reach your floor. Staff are helpful but helpless to make changes . Management needs to implement a fix which is possible in both the short term and long term
Well equipped kitchen Comgortable bed Clean Good breakfast
Long wait for elevators Overcrowded dining room at breakfast.
Location, cleanliness of rooms, kitchen.
Elevator and having to wait at least 10 minutes to get one to stop on my floor. Breakfast was poor.
Good, convenient location. Short walk to Times Square! Very clean! Friendly, helpful staff! Free continental breakfast, coffee and water in the lobby during the day, beautiful rooftop view of NYC with a few tables, chairs! It was nice having a kitchenette with stove-top, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer in the room. Wood floors rather than carpet added to the clean feel of the room.
A little pricey for the type of hotel, but it was a good price for NYC. Hotel elevator had some issues while we were there...skipping over our floor several times, so we had to walk down 25 flights. Management seemed to fix this quickly though and were nice/helpful!
Staff was great
Elevators difficult, stay on a lower floor and use the stairs.
The location was excellent! Very close to the subway and the electric times square. Staff were friendly and very helpful; there was a fault with our shower and the maintenance staff came to us immediately and fixed it first thing in the morning. Would definitely stay again.
The only downside was that the street noise was very loud in our room (floor 12 of 40) meaning that we had to sleep with earplugs or have very interrupted sleep.
Location, free wifi, kitchennette
Rooms are tiny
We were very happy with the room. It was modern, clean and the beds & pillows were very comfortable.
Waiting for the elevators was dreadful. One morning we stood waiting for 15 minutes for the elevator so we could go out. We were on the 30th floor so taking the stairs was not an option.
Pricey. Breakfast was below expectation: small selection of low quality foods served on cardboard plates. Without comparison the worst breakfast we have had on a hotel in this class.
the location is 3 blocks from the Time square the breakfast ..
the WiFi was very poor and I almost had no signal all the time .. the place was so noisy .. the staff was not that cooperative ! the elevators is only 2 and you have to wait for several minutes !
nowhere to hang trousers full length otheR than on back of bathroom door or from shower rail
Location, cleanliness, comfort, value for money, great breakfast, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Westin hotels never fail.
Location staff breakfast kitchen in the room
everything was great
Room, bathroom, everything
Elevator takes for ever due to it skipping floors.
Great location Staff very friendly & helpful After 5 free drinks Fantastic rooftop viewing area
Sometimes a bit noisy at night but that's NY.
I like the fact they had a little kitchen great for long stay.
The staff were great. The rooms were well equipped with a kitchen, full size fridge. Modern and smoke free. Comfortable bed. Wifi free and quick. Happy hour with snacks beer and wine was great and a money saver.
The lifts. Some mornings it took 10 minutes to get one to stop. We almost missed a tour due to this. Breakfast area very crowded. I would have like muffins or bread to toast not just bagels. The hot breakfast sandwiches were not to my liking. Also things not alwYs replenished promptly. Eg bananas hard to get but after a day or so I noticed if you asked for one you could get one. Why not put them out?
Happy hour 5:30-7:00 with beer, wine and food It's a Westin so the bed and shower are great
There is major construction going on across the street- keep the windows closed tight Yes, the elevators can be slow
very well designed rooms and facilities. Modern and clean and stylish. Breakfasts plentiful and tasty. staff were attentive and friendly. Very impressed and would use again. looking forward to the chain being set up in Europe
The location - in the Garment District - was very central and thereful handy but extremely busy and the streets were a bit shabby, albeit there were pubs and restaurants nearby.
Breakfast was great. Everything within walking distance.
The elevator was faulty the one morning resulting in us having to go down 22 flights of stairs with a 4 and a 7 year old.
Excellent position for entertainment And Time Sqare 2/10/2014 weather was still warm.
Breakfast not suitable for Australian taste
I loved the helpful staff. The way they took care of thinks quickly. I loved the set up of the rooms, the clean bathrooms, and the roof top!
I didn't like that I had to leave. :(
