In Atlanta, Georgia, this hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Turner Field, home to the Major League Baseball team, the Atlanta Braves.
Score from 268 reviews Good
This downtown Atlanta DoubleTree features a 24-hour fitness center, cocktail lounge and rooms with flat-screen TVs. The Tabernacle Concert Hall and Centennial Olympic Park are 500 feet away.
Score from 118 reviews Good
The hotel was beautiful. It had a small refrigerator that was great (request to have it turned on before arrival) It was very roomy, and the staff was great.
at no fault to the hotel, it is not really close to the DragonCon host hotels. Long walk up to them.
Comfortable dining area, available staff
Limited variety of meats (all days only bacon and sausags and eggs) were available.
Very Clean and staff was Excellent!
Did not like having to wait an hour to check into our room but it was due to large crowd at hotel as a result of the sporting events, conventions etc. in the downtown area.
The young ladies that were at the front desk gave me the best experience that I've had at a hotel in a long time. Please and I mean Please keep up the good work, had a very great time and friends as well.
I didnt have anything wrong with my stay...
The hotel is close to places like Georgia aquarium, world of Coca-Cola,cetennial park and CNN center. simply put, thumbs up for it location.
the plumbing was kind of faculty as we had to call for the toilet to be fixed before it could be used again. If you are looking for a service apartment this is not for you and not a shopaholic haven.
City view. Next to Aquarium and Coca Cola. Many good restaurants nearby. Good Wifi signal. Not too noisy. Indoor and outdoor pools. Get your aquarium tickets at front desk to avoid the ticket lines.
Parking fees in downtown Atlanta are ridiculous! 22.00 per day for hotel guests and you park in a public garage out side the hotel. 28.00 per day for valet. Beds are soft memory foam. Very hot and you sink into a hole. Maid service is so-so. Coffee not replenished each day. Breakfast is 13.00 for over 12 years old. It's nothing special.
I liked the location and the restaurant hooked onto hotel. We were able to get good food when we arrived late that night.
We paid around $200 for 1 night with parking and fees and I'm very disappointed in the beds. Ours was so hard even though we tried to adjust it. It kept waking me up every few hours because it made my back hurt so bad. We stayed here 3 years ago and we loved it. I won't be ever staying here again. I feel like I wasted my money on our room.
The check out hotel attendant really apologized for the bad experience I encountered.
Room Service Food - Overcooked chicken with a bugs in the salad. Spoiled food left in the refrigerator from a previous guest. One of the pillow had a blood stain on it.
It's very close to all the attractions in downtown. The view from the 12th floor room is wonderful.
comfort staff pool
the location to other attractions
There was blood on a pillow case at check in. The pool deck does not close at night, so a group of ladies partied on the deck until 2 a.m. our room window view was the pool deck the front desk usually had ONE person to work all check in's, check outs, and questions from guests. b'fast was additional and just a buffet continental style, what 12.00 per person when i get my own bagel, cereal or eggs and oatmeal?
the closest to the georgia aquarium and the friendly staff
When I checked in I was greeted by everyone at the front desk. EVERY ONE WAS SO NICE AND HELPFUL. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. .
Friendly and helpful front-desk staff. Knowledgeable about surrounding attractions and restaurants. Valet service was quick and courteous.
Couldn't figure out how to work the shower.
The hotel was located near the CNN Studios and World of Coca-Cola as well as several other attractions. Moreover, the hotel was near many places to eat and near a Marta station.
The valet parking was pricey, but you knew your car was safe in the hotel parking garage.
Price without breakfast
Easy to walk to CNN and inTo the downtown area. Across the street from the Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola and Centennial Olympic Park. Staff always helpful and efficient. Room was big and clean. Bed big and comfortable. View of the city from the room was fabulous.
This. Is the the only thing I can fault...the noise of the automatic doors into the lobby/reception from outside.
I loved everything about my stay in Atlanta, my short stay was the only bad thing...very professional and helpful...Thank you staff for making my stay at the HIlton Garden Inn Atlanta WONDERFUL!!!
A/C unit in room was loud!
- unfriendly personal at front desk (Being ironic about reclamation) - poor room service (had to ask twice for cleaning.. Did not fill up toilet paper and other stuff) - breakfast and parking not included (even with the high room rates)
Room temperature was difficult to control.
Location and amenities, breakfast was also excellent
Every thing you would want to see in Atlanta is right around the corner. Hotel is beautiful and has a nice pool area (inside and outside) Ask for a room on the penthouse level (same price) for some amazing views.
I like the rooms and the general services in the hotel and the location. May be will be there again for end of the year holiday keep it up.
I don't like the telephone rate international call is too expencesive.
Location is close to major attractions Staff is friendly and professional Rooms are up to date/comfortable Great views of downtown
No help with luggage Fee to park is expensive $22/day Pantry is too small and expensive
