I liked the room refrigerator and the overall cleanliness of the room. I had a great visit.
The bed was ok but I thought the pillows could have been better. Everything was clean though.
Very Friendly Staff
Some updating is needed.
The breakfast at the Colonial Cafe was very good!
The room was extremely expensive for what it was! (A motel room) The bed was not very comfortable and had a wooded piece that stuck out as part of the headboard that was very poorly located. There were no extra pillows and I had to ask for them to solve the "headsmashing issue". The bathroom had corrosion on the fixtures that need either cleaning or immediate replacement. We felt breakfast should have been included for the price we paid. Dissatisfied overall.
Location, staff, amenities. Look forward to my next visit there soon.
Time for the tile grout to be updated in bathroom.
Helpful staff, free tea and cookies in reception, attractive grounds, roomy accommodation with lounge area and kitchenette.
Breakfast cost extra and was uninspiring.
We were very pleased with our accommodations. It was close to downtown Stowe. The breakfast in the Café the next morning was also excellent and the staff were wonderful. Overall, loved the place and will surely book with you when we come down your way again.
Can't say there was anything wrong.
The location was great. We walked to O'Grady's for dinner and the food was very good and owners were friendly. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and coffee, tea and cookies in the afternoon served in a pleasant room off the lobby. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast on the premises took way too long. We were just about to walk out when our food came. We were disappointed with the portion of ham (2 slices of deli) served with our eggs. Way overpriced. There are better places to have a morning meal.
Comfort of room. Close to walking trail and town. Beautiful grounds which were well kept. Staff welcoming and polite
Beautiful property and great pools and facilities
Bathroom was very outdated and very small in room 105.
the spa facilities, room was excellent
too cold unheated out- side swimming pool, lack of restaurant (except breakfast, which was good)
Well appointed rooms, ice tea in the lobby and games to play on a rainy afternoon were very much appreciated.
It was a lovely spot for my family to relax and have a great time.
The fitness facilities and location are first rate. Breakfast is excellent. Have been coming here for years.
Wifi is a bit slow.
The units were not surrounded by parking lots and pavement or gravel. They were set back from the road -- and therefore distant from traffic noise -- and the lovely landscaping with a little pond, trees, and grassy areas, was very refreshing on a hot day. Playground equipment was very appealing to our grandchildren. The breakfast cafe was convenient and the food was good. The indoor pool was large and well-maintained, with toasty-warm water. The outdoor pool setting was very appealing, but too cool for our taste during our stay. Finally, the internet reservation process was very efficient.
As I mentioned upon checkout, the faucet on the bathroom sink was almost unusable. The clerk thanked me for the information and told me repairs would be made.
We visited during the summer. Close to many hiking trails. The office area had a concise listing of many and directions to the trail heads. The restaurant server good breakfasts at a good price. The room was comfortable and quiet. This where we'll stay if we visit the Stowe area again.
Quiet and peaceful. Facilities and good and location is in walking distance to downtown Stowe/
no phone int he room you cannot call the front desk
The beds were very comfortable. The on site restaurant was very nice.
The rooms had a funky smell perhaps just due to the age of the property. We were on motorcycles so probably would have chosen somewhere else with paved parking if we had known.
We were very surprised that we had an upgrade to our room, and it was extremely nice, comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
The grounds were so pretty and quiet.
The beds were not comfortable and the room needed updating. It was very neat and clean though.
The rooms were clean and spacious, child-friendly. The café in the hotel allows for an easy breakfast purchase. The mini-fridge in the room was also very handy. The location is great as well. The playground was a big hit. We did no try the indoor pool as the weather was nice but had it in mind in case of rain.
The fridge/heating alternatively made noise on and off during the night which was somewhat annoying the first night.
The grounds and all that it offer to do.
Everything was top quality including the Golden Eagle Restaurant, plus the location is very convenient, not only to the skiing but also to all the other local attractions. This is our second visit and we will continue to stay here on future trips.
The hot tub and indoor pool were fantastic especially after a day of playing outdoors in very cold weather,
The blower on the heating unit was somewhat loud when it came on. Sometimes woke me up at night.
Facilities in very good shape.
